Motorcycles and Tundras

Who hauls a motorcycle in their Tundra's bed? I want to put an XT250 in mine so I can ride the campground trails.

 

I put a vrod weighing 625lbs. In the back of mine. I also have a carrier where I can hang it off the back. I took it to Panama City and back this way. I was definitely overloaded with 4 people in the truck and 300 lbs. Of gear in the bed. No issues. You should have no problem. How much does your bike weigh?

 

I had my Yamaha XT and my boy's quad in the back of my crewmax.

Its the older Toyota Genuine Parts extender, made by AMP. Part Number: PT392-34000. New model is more of a V shape, this one is U shaped giving more space. Its nearly identical to the AMP models currently available, BUT, this one comes with the no-drill mounts.

My bike weighs about 300 pounds. I'm looking forward to traveling the country with my Tundra.

 

At 300lbs - you won't even know its back there.

 

Remember you have a half ton truck. So about 1000 pounds before you startoverloading it. I wish I could travel the country with my bike....#jelly
