Hi all. Looking for a low profile hard tonneau cover for my 2021 CrewMax. Not interested in spending over $1k for a BakFlip. Any recommendations for a cheaper one that's good?

I had an Undercover (prior to the SE model coming out) on my 2007 DC and loved it.

    don't know
@Tundra234 Looking for recommendations on hard tonneau covers that give you nearly, if not all bed use! I really like the hard roll-up tonneaus but I don't like anything covered in vinyl. Possibility of it ripping and such. What do you consider to be the best and why? Thanks for your help!

I ended up finding a Bakflip Revolver hard roll up. Guy ordered the wrong one and never returned it. I like it a lot so far.

Got the BakFlip MX4. It folds back most of the way - takes up about 8" at the front of the bed. When folded all the way, it leans on the back of the window and held in place with a rod on each side. It leaks a very small amount in pouring rain (got a lot here in CA lately) as it has a built-in drain.

I really didn't want to spend $1K on my BakFlip either, but I just saved up for awhile and bit the bullet.

Sometimes you can have cheaper, or you can have good. I wanted my expensive stuff (surfboards. generator, etc.) to be relatively secure, and relatively dry. So far I'm really happy with it.

Didn't make sense to try and save a couple hundy putting a janky tonneau on my new $50K truck...

Sometimes "Buy once, Cry once" is the way to go.

I spent nearly 1k on a G2 and by about 8 years later the the seals over the hinges were shifting and degrading, the prop rod mount on one of the rails snapped and the cable release mechanism was falling apart.
