    Details:

    -2017 SR5 TRD Off-Road, CrewMax, 5800 miles.
-Tires are Nitto TerraGrappler G2 in 275/70/18 on stock wheels
    -1.25" spacers

At my request, Dealer checked my alignment under warranty at the 5k mile service and made a slight adjustment. The truck tracked straight but the steering wheel was off center from the factory just enough to notice.

The dealer adjusted the toe to some degree and it now seems to have trouble tracking on the highway - maybe wandering is a better way to describe it. Further, the steering feels "lighter". As well, the steering wheel is slightly off center still.

I know little about alignment so am not sure what to explain when I go to Kauffman Tire - going to a professional shop vs the dealer. If my truck is wandering, is it a lack of toe? Camber? Caster?

I don't have the specs from he dealer's alignment, so. It sure where they started and ended.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

this is a good read about alignment and the tundras:

    http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tu...spec-thread-w-links-shop-recommendations.html

its hard to tell what the wandering problem could be without seeing your alignment sheet. you should always request the alignment sheet with the before and after specs.

    I have my truck at:
    toe: 0.07 - 0.06
    camber: 0.1 - 0.1
    caster: 2.7 - 3.2

    and it drives perfectly straight.

    From this thread here

I just had my alignment redone yesterday using these numbers. Somehow it was knocked out since my last rotation and started to feather the front tires just a bit.

Got my alignment done today... local shop, Kauffman Tire. Got the 3-yr deal for $129. What is amazing is how off the numbers were from the dealership alignment - crazy. The toe numbers were way off - especially in the rear.

The truck drives sooo much better. My OCD is crazy though cause my steering wheel is still off to the right some - just enough to notice.

    Before and after specs.

Wow..yeah, what a difference. The before specs were way off. The only thing to consider is adding a little bit more caster on the right (to counteract road crown).

Glad you got it resolved :)

Ensure to tell the tech to torque lower control arms to 207ft lb . If not the first bump will throw your steering wheel off.
