What do the newer models need ? Please let us know. We are currently designing a new set of maps and domes to replace the factory night lights. If there are other thing they need send us your ideas.

 

So VLEDS has this footwell lighting kit for the 3rd gen tacoma (https://www.vleds.com/shop-application/footwell/3g-tacoma-dual-fwk-front.html) that is plug and play into the map lighting harness inside the overhead console and runs down the A-pillar that I would really like to see in the 22+ Tundra. I just heard from VLEDS and they have no intention of creating a similar product for the tundras. I see that you have some custom lighting as well for the tacoma. Any chance you'd be willing to tackle a similar plug and play harness for the Tundra for footwell lights? I'd be happy to test it.

I'm also the guy that was asking if the red engine start button you already have would work in the 22+ Tundras too.

Can't wait to get my hands on the new key fob. Any way to get on a waiting list?

I asked at the parts dept at the dealer and was quoted something over $300. Was hoping to just get the red button Meso has for $25

 

I would assume it will work. Looks like the same button push start for 2020+ Tundra, 2016+ Tacomas, 2020+ 4Runners. And seen people use the Start button chrome delete on tundras also.

I pulled my black switch out and it looks like Toyota changed the design on the 3rd gen. The tabs are completely different.

I think I actually have a spare start ring. I think it’s red? I have a black one on my taco. Anyone with a 3rd gen want to try it?

I’d have to find it of course.

 

That start button or the chrome trim ring, or both?

 

I’d be willing to give it a try. Is there an easy way to take the button off without the specialized wire tool that Meso has?

Not sure about that one. I replaced my entire button assembly in 2019. Never did just the insert. I’m sure it’s possible, just not sure about which tool(s)

 

Something to cover up the sea of gloss black around the shifter and near the door pulls. Thinking Digi cam like LLOD

 

Any updates on the map/dome lighting? Also-footwell lighting is badly needed as well as puddle lights for the mirrors (if that is something y’all do)

 

I found this for the shifter, they also have versions in digicamo available on Amazon & Ebay. It's ABS instead of vinyl or the raised vinyl like Tufskinz

We are in the design phase of these right now.

 

Was also thinking under hood lighting would be great along with my previously stated courtesy/puddle lights and footwell lighting.

 

How do we sign up for key fob notification? I can’t find it on your website

Just a small bump a month out. Any new timelines? I think I signed up properly for fob case waitlist and I'm fairly certain I haven't gotten any notifications yet but just wanted to be sure here too.

I feel as if Meso may have abandoned this post. I've been waiting over a year for the key fob update.
