I need to go back and top off both rad and ic, but so far just a tad over two gallons. And damn, they're $30 a gallon!

You guys are tempting me to do more with my setup...what is the consensus of needed items if I were to upgrade the pulley as well?

    Current Setup:
    • Stock Magnuson
    • Green Injectors
    • Factory Flex Fuel Pump
I'm thinking if I did the pulley I need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors, possibly swap plugs? and then modify the current HPTune? Does that sound about right? Truck should finally be paid off in a couple months so some extra funds are around the corner.

@AZTundra , I have one piece of this upgraded puzzle now...I have the same setup minus the Flex Fuel bits...I need 750cc injectors, new belt, probably a updated/graded heat exchanger (IC), new 450l in-tank pump and a tune...so only roughly $2k more of bits...

Ya, missing the ic reservoir bracket.

Took the truck for the first drive and LOL! accidentally spun the tires just pulling out of my street! It definitely moves now! Only issue I saw on the drive was the center dash says to Refuel, but the gauge is working accurately. Hoping that goes away after driving around a bit. We didn't do any MAF scaling since I need to figure out what I'll be doing with the intake. Gonna work on that over the weekend. Super stoked everything seems to be in working order though!

Also I guess I need a second alignment after jumping up to 22" wheels from 20's. Idk how but.does feel off. Someone the 22s feel more.cll comfortable too

Would you recommend the 2.1 or 2.2 pulley in this scenario?

Probably a 2.2 based on your elevation. That'd be 9-10psi if you don't have any other mods (intake, throttle body, etc). 750s would support that with some overhead and would be fine if you went to sea level. My 750s are over 90% duty cycle at 11psi.

A 2.1 would push you to 11psi, plus if you had other mods or went to lower elevation so I think you'd start running out of fuel with the 750s. Plus that'd be ~650hp, where as the 2.2 would be ~600hp so keep the engine a bit happier. With that said I'd have no issue making 11psi all the time with a safe tune. All depends how hard you want to party.

If the pulley thing can actually get working (I'm nearly to the point of doing it myself) then hopefully you could swap out pulleys too and dial in what you want. I have my "high performance around town" setup and then my "drive to sea level conservative" pulley, and it takes 10 minutes to change between them.

Whats the smallest pulley that 650's will be ok with? I ordered a set of Five-Os

Some quick math is a 2.3 or 2.2, at 2.2 I'd probably seriously consider the 750s. A 2.3 will be around 9psi, and from ZPhilips truck we know that he's using a lot of his 650 injectors at 8psi (albeit ignoring it's a Harrop), so that matches up.

And to reiterate, that's assuming no other mods. My spreadsheet has held pretty true for a stock supercharger and Magnuson intake and then swapping pulleys. If you go with a higher flowing intake or bigger throttle body or headers, etc. Then you can flow more air (Fastlane47 made ~2psi more than my spreadsheet says but his engine has a lot more modifications than my stock setup). So your future modifying should account for that.

Where is the best place for the O2 sensor? I just ordered a PSB-1 and the instructions are really specific for turbos but I'm missing it or they don't specify for SC

@snivilous put his in this location on the passenger side, and I had mine done the same based on his recommendation.

I had mine installed by a lot of peoples recommendation on the drivers side right after the primary O2. They said that side because it’s almost always cylinder 5 that pops (drivers side). The passenger side makes a lot of sense though if you have the stock fuel rail setup since it’s fed second in series with the drivers side rail. I guess the best answer is both, but good luck trying to monitor 2 at once and drive safely at WOT.

On second thought, the true best answer is do the fuel line jumper that tees the inlets of both rails together basically making them parallel and then monitor the drivers side.
I still may feed my rails parallel one day just for good measure.

Im sure the info I am asking is buried in these 198 pages but, has anyone supercharged their 2018 Tundra? I am considering Magnuson for my 2018 Platinum. Also wondering if any type of tune or ecu flash is required with supercharging? If so does Magnuson include tuner with the kit? Im at about 47k miles, does the Magnuson 3/36 warranty still count from 47K on? Anyone know of any catastrophic failures with the Magnuson? Thanks

    YES tune is needed,

YES a base tune is included with the full kit but it is generally viewed as insufficient

So does the base kit come with a hand held tuner?

    Too many mods to come

It comes with a Mv HP tuners unit to flash the computer. 2017 with a maggy here and my father has an 18 that had a maggy. Lots of miles on and offroad no issues. It’s all in the tuning.

I did a 2021 Tundra with the Magnuson at the dealer, all stock setup, they did the tuning that comes with the kit and gave me the handheld afterwards. Been great for 11k miles or so. Obviously a real custom tune would be ideal in addition but not necessary. I will likely do so plus more mods once I get another car as backup.
