Any home phone line experts??

I'm having an odd issue at home....

First, I don't have a landline phone, so lets get that out of the way.

The issue I'm having is I'm hearing a phone ring, as in someone is dialing out no voices just a ring. Its faint in the living room and its intermittent.. So I can't just find it, until today I was in the kitchen repairing a drawer when I heard the sound clear as day, and slightly louder, but its behind the East kitchen wall. There was an SBC global filter on the South wall, which I removed, but I've yet to remove the phone backing plate and wiring. Box has 2 or 3 fuses in there.

Anyway I can lookup phone numbers that were assigned to this house??
