2WD 2016 Crew Max 6 inch lift Advice.

Would the 4WD 6inch Rough Country kit work with 2wd Crew Max. l've called rough country and the Customer service rep said it would. Just not all of the parts from the 4WD kit would be used. Can anyone else validate this?

 

Yes, the only thing you would not use is the differential drop. Hope this helped. Post pic if you get it installed

 

I have a 2WD 2016 and there are only two that fits on my truck if you go 6" kit. Procomp and Fabtech. I called Rough Country and they only have leveling kit available. They said maybe in 3-6months they have a kit for the 2WD 6". Anyway, I took the Procomp coz its a good brand. Stay away from s spacer lift IMO rough ride

 

If you are 2wd, why not get a spindle lift and add some bilsteins or coilovers for a 6" lift?

I agree with both of you and was told that's the best option for 2wd, but.......... You can't install spindles unless you have aftermarket wheels. Won't work with OEM. I have been known to be wrong from time to time, but I'm willing to roll the dice

 

Depends on tire size also. Check with vendors, CST and Maxtrac are the most popular. may be able to use wheel spacers

 

I'm running maxtrac spindles with icon coilovers for the front with icon ucas rides ok a bit bumpy thou still trying to see how to fix that but I have about 4.5 5 inch lift the spindles say they give 3.5 lift and I out my coilovers at about 1.5 2inch for lift here a pic

 

I got it next to a 6 inch 4x4 lift the one on right is the 6 inch lift
