ARE Z Topper minor issue- KUDOS to ARE

Ordered and purchased ARE Z Topper back in 2014 from a local dealer. (Gaston Auto Glass).This past winter I had an issue with spring inside not returning the handle to original closed position. Last week called my dealer told him what the issue was and he asked me to bring it by the shop. He looked it over and called ARE who told him its covered under warranty. They sent an entire new assembly which arrived yesterday.

Thought this was pretty cool as I was ready to pay the repair costs. I suppose they could have easily blown me off and made me pay, they chose to do the right thing and make it right under warranty. It's easy to bitch about poor service and we all know there is plenty to go around, I think it's only right to post up dam great service.

I developed a small bubble in the paint on the one I had on my Tacoma. The local dealer called ARE and they said to send it back. I was without it for a few weeks but it came back repaired. One of the many reasons I'm looking at them for the new Tundra.
