I just received my set today, but the box for Rear Left (PT871-34222-02) had another Front Right (PT871-34220-02) in it, with the orange LED marker missing. What a mess!

Does anyone have an extra Rear Left (PT871-34222-02)? Will contact the dealer tomorrow, but asking just incase.

This has been posted many times, but I'm including the orientation+stamp along with the part numbers.

    PT871-34220-02 - Front Right (FR-R)
    PT871-34221-02 - Front Left (FR-L)
    PT871-34222-02 - Rear Left (RR-L)
    PT871-34223-02 - Rear Right (RR-R)

They come painted or did you have to get them painted?

Man those look awesome! Might be placing an order soon for the fronts. My only concern is no fender liner, I don't want water splashing into the intakes... How much was install if you don't mind me asking?

Also how was fitment from the get go? Did they require a ton of work so far?

No they don’t come painted. They also need a lot of trimming and in-filling to make the gaps consistent. Had to fab a bracket for the tailgate and so forth.

Front is a lot easier install. Painting the inner black with steelit and made an instant shroud. Probably 2k-3k install and paint. Front only.

Man that's steep. I hear they do fitment on the fronts for $500 but idk how perfect they dial it in.

If you look at my photos the yellow tape all over are places that need trimming or infill. The flat parts aren’t perfect either so they need smoothing too.

RRW 0 offset. Rough country flares help tuck them a bit more. I also did a layer of clear PPF between the flare and where it rubs against the body/paint to help protect the paint underneath. Now that I have these on, the stock”flares” don’t even seem like flares. They are more like an esthetic black trim piece. Some before and after comparisons below.

I just got notified that my online order has been cancelled because the parts are no longer available. My order was placed in December. Not too sure where to try next? I wonder if Sparks has them?

Has anyone had success getting these Pro Flares from Sparks recently?

I followed your advice and it worked perfectly. I have the flares installed but not wired. How did you determine which pin is hot and ground?

Honestly, I am not sure which is hot and/or ground. If you look back through this thread you will find my description of how I did the wiring on my SR5. The rear flares are easy to figure out....the headlights are slightly more difficult.....

You gave a good description in post #184. Your connections to the truck make perfect sense. I need to figure out which pin on the light is ground. I could try trial and error as long as I don’t burn out the light. Would be nice if it’s on the light somewhere.

Anyone have any pictures of the pro flares on an sr5 or platinum with stick wheels? I have SR5 trd offroad with 20in TRD offroad wheels. Curious if the extra width of the flares will look goofy with stock wheels that don’t have any extra offset/tire poke. Thanks

Yea that’s that I was thinking. Would 1”spacer be enough? Would there be any issue with rubbing or anything like that? Thanks

Just placed an order for all 4 flares and was informed they're on national backorder as expected, but at least my dealer didn't flat out tell me that I couldn't get it. Seems like Toyota is slowly chipping away at the backlogs based on what he told me about my backordered bed steps.

I scanned through all pages in the thread and I'm sorry if I missed this, but has anyone taken a stab at wrapping the flares? As much as I like the camo pattern, it would look seriously out of place on the 1794 trim with all the chrome.

I actually don't mind the chrome and plan on keeping it, but the Pro flares would look a lot better if wrapped in the same gloss black as the current flares (1794 w/ TRD off-road).

Did you get a better deal than the $84 per flare that I paid, if you don't mind my asking? I also prefer local pickup since my dealer tends to have discounted prices online, and I can inspect everything on the spot.

Dang that's a steal!!! Although with shipping I'm sure it will be more than local prices.... Tbh the full price of ~$90 isn't terrible either considering you get the marker lights, which is the only reason I want to retrofit the Pro flares. If it were just the flare alone, I likely would pass.

That's so backwards hahaha.. makes me think the Pro flare prices will catch up or adjust, so better get is sooner than later!

I love the look and I guess I could do the prep and paint myself since it's a pretty small part. Might be easier and more durable than wrapping. I didn't realize how expensive the wrap itself can be too jeez.

I had mine painted to match my Smoked Mesquite. I wanted the digital pattern to show through.

Quick update here as I know some people were asking about stock availability. I ordered a set from West Coast Toyota in Long Beach, Ca and just received them today. It took 3 weeks and paid $70.40 per piece.
