It’s been a while since I’ve been in the turbo parts world. That being said, I see it says “adapter” so does that mean you have to also get blow-off valves themselves in addition? Thanks!

 

You do not need to get anything additional. The set is the actual blow off value.

 

Not really. The plates offer an escape route for the air. To answer the question, the adapter plates get sandwiched between the charge pipe and the oem recirculating valve. When the valve opens, air will now travel through the ports in the plates and vent to atmosphere.

BMS and everyone else calls these "blow off valves" but they're not. They're simply spacers with holes drilled into them to get the "wooosh" sound.

That being said, I have a set and love them. No need for anything else other than the plates and hardware.

Definitely a cool mod.

Does the truck still stall or throw codes? It sounds nice hopefully it doesn't void the warranty lol.
