2005 Double Cab

Finally got my hands on one of these beauties

The wheel/tire combo is very similar to what I've been eyeballing for my '06 AC.

If you haven't seen yet, this thread may be of help if you didn't already catch it.

 

285/70/17 on methods, Bilstein 6100 front an rear on camburg upper control arms. It has the add a leaf in the rear but I think I am going to take it out as I will never be towing with this and would like for it to set level.

Great looking truck! What type of springs are you running w/ the 6100s?

 

Y'all may want to tag @Batten71 - last forum visit was a couple weeks ago. First thing I did when I joined was turning off the notifications when someone replied to my threads. But I (initially) left on the notifications when someone tagged me. May be the same case with them.

I assume he's gotten time to dig into it at this point, I was also curious if they were running wheel spacers and, if so, what size.

Holy cow! I remember when he originally did the Taco vs. Tundra comparison video. I'd just had my truck for a few months and remember that making an impression on me, like, "I made the right choice!"

I also thought it was funny - he got bit like many others! Whoever replaced his timing belt didn't tuck the crank position sensor wire out of the way correctly, and it got nicked, he got screwed with weird starts

 

I was totally influenced to go back to a FGT from his vids! Gorgeous truck, fun YT channel. Glad I found my truck, it's been a great couple years.

 

I saw that video before I bought mine. It made me only look for a first gen tundra vs the 2nd gen taco.
