If someone's looking for the rear window solution, I found this today from KJTO 4X4 and returned my yet-uninstalled Autoloc to Amazon because it's the same price with no cutting involved:

Edit later: I'm removing the link because KTJO delivered a non-functional product and blew off my polite support requests until I forced their hand with a PayPal dispute, and even then tried to get me to take less money than a full refund. Do not buy from them. They've been banned here too

I've got a tracking number that registers that USPS has the package in their possession, same day as when I ordered it (ordered this morning.) So that's pretty quick turnaround. I'll post again when it gets here and I hook it up.

    Update on this?

I know others have had results… just waiting to take the plunge (if it works…)

Yes, I did plug it in. It doesn't work though, I think I messed up a step in hooking up the inline harness though, but it was dark, snowing, and I was in a rush as company arrived as I was putting it in, so I just threw it in and buttoned things up and didn't even test it until the following morning. I plan on hopping back into it tomorrow morning and troubleshooting. If I hooked it up right, then it doesn't work in 2014-2016's and only in the 2017-2021's that they advertise it for (which, I wasn't aware that anything changed for those years?) But I suspect that I hooked up the inline harness incorrectly. The window does continue to roll up and down, but doesn't do the auto up-down thing.

I upgraded my window switch panel to full auto about six months ago and it hasn't had any issues since. Purchased from CARTRIMHOME through their website and arrived at my house about a week later like anything else i buy online. Install could not be any easier than it was, remove entire old switch control panel using the included plastic panel removal tool (bonus!, not that i needed it) and popped in the new fully auto panel. Install took five minutes but would've been less if I didn't bother reading the instructions. Why would anyone NOT buy this for their truck or mess with other upgrades that require splicing/tapping wires? Unless you're trying to convert the rear window switch to an AUTO switch just buy this panel and skip all that other mess. BTW, this window control panel with the auto switches actually comes from another Toyota model vehicle---> the RAV4. The box sticker actually had that printed on it.

FYI: The window control "LOCK" switch actually changes to RED backlighting when it's locked and back to white when unlocked. Nice feature I didn't know about when I bought it.

I bought from CARTRIMHOME also, but I do not recommend the passenger and rear passenger switches. They do not fit, and they said they’ve seen that issue before.

That’s odd. Mine fit perfectly and continued to function as full auto when the main driver switch crapped out after 2 weeks. I reached out, and a replacement was shipped and received in about a week’s time and it’s been flawless ever since. :fingerscrossed:

Bummer man. I don’t remember a special position being required for each switch. Have you tried moving them around? And by not fitting do you mean the socket/business end? Or just the switch not fitting through plastic flat plate? Because the latter I think is solved with a jig saw or some files.

So the little black stock housing where it has those two kind of pop in plastic pieces, it’s like all 3 of mine are too small so they only click in on one side.

Initially I had the same problem but the passenger and rear switches do fit. You just have to play with it and the clips will snap in. I don't remember the details how it snaps in because it has been awhile since the install. I do remember having difficulty getting them snap in but they eventually went in like the stock switches.

I bought from cartrimhome, got the replacement switches for every door, and installed in late October. Haven't had any issues, and I get a little worried every time I use them just because of how many people here report an issue, but that's fading with each use lol I keep the stock set in my truck too.

I pretty much never have passengers so it's rare that the front passenger and the rears even get used, but my front driver side gets used daily and it works every time. :notsure:

I think it’s just batch to batch. Their customer service already confirmed it happens, they’re working with me on it I assume this week to see whether they give me the money back or try to ship me a replacement part.

This just makes me sad. I am kind of just sitting on these three switches hoping for them to help out.

Okay I take it back. I got the other 3 to work, they just didn’t “push in” I have to take a small screwdriver and shove the clips on the window switches until they made it into the black plastic housing. Didn’t exactly fit like stock, but they’re in there snug now!

Glad you got it figure out. I had the same problem as you at first when trying to get them to snap in. It is very tight but eventually they will snap in after playing with it.
