My take is that the RAS and rear sway bar both help with sway, both empty and loaded. A rear sway bar reduces articulation which reduces traction, performance off road. Crossing a road ditch/median the sway bar tends to hold the low wheel up, not helpful. The RAS can be tuned and really improves handling both loaded and unloaded, improves ride loaded but doesn’t hurt ride unloaded. Off road not impeded.

Been using this Roadmaster for many years, currently have it on my Cummins/Ram and Tundra. Ram has a leveling kit only and Tundra stock. I’m very sold on the RAS but wouldn’t guess how or if it will perform on a lifted truck.

The Roadmaster really improved low and high speed cornering, improved squat-handling towing on my current Tundra. Did NOTHING to eliminate bed bounce on those pesky highways, darn.

This is what I was looking for, thank you. Was contemplating replacing my 1 inch CB shackles with 2 inch so I could add the RoadMasters but I'll disregard that now. I've done everything else under the moon to alleviate bed bounce so I'll just live with it at this point.

@batman900, with the installation, I still have the bed bounce, but I have a area of road in Houston, where it curves, and it seems to have a bounce, feels like ocean waves, I would slow down, but now I find myself accelerating, and enjoying the bounce #Vroom.

@Saltyhero13, that bounce in the curve had me on the brakes, then that TRD PRO, ask me to trust the feel, now on the way to work, and minimal traffic, I’m finding a Need for Speed, yeah I’m ole skool 55+ enjoying grand babies.

I’ve been running both the RAS and rear TRD sway bar for months and IMO it’s awesome. Factory ride has not been changed just better handling. While I run a WDH for my camper which helps with squat, with my boat which is pretty heavy I can’t use a WDH and the suspension handles the boat so much better with the RAS.
