    Love the build!

I saw the post about the GOAT Armor saying you would update what you really think about it but didn't see anything in the rest o the thread...

    What are your thoughts?

Great looking Tundra. I just found your thread but have seen your videos before.

My 2019 Tundra is in the shop now getting Bilstein 6112/5160s installed with Upper Control Arms and Coach Builder 3" Shackles and shims up front. I'll be running Fuel Alpha 17" rims with +8 offset with 35" x 12.50 Wild Peaks.

My 6112 are on the top setting, hopefully it will turn out how I'm hoping.

    Thank you!

In short, for my need and to follow their suggested manner of use, it is something I would not put on my truck
reason: 1. Not meant for staying on the truck long term, the fact that I have to take it off and put it on for every offroad trip, it is not ideal.
    2. When it's left on the vehicle during rainy days, it will leave a very hard to remove water mark on the paint, which takes months for the marks to disappear.
    3. They are very hard to store away for me, I don't have a big flat surface for them to lay onto, so if they stored not ideal way, they will be kind of hard to re-apply next round.

    Hope that helps?
also, I have had mine off and not going to be using mine, if you are close to me, they are yours.

Thank you! You will like it, just may need a body mount chop with that offset and 12.5 inch combo.

So seems like the tpms sensor I got needs a little bit of modification to be mounted onto the icon rebound wheels due to the valve stem angle of the wheels is different than regular wheels. Oh well.

Went offroad with a rivian this weekend. It is surely a nice vehicle and surprisingly capable off road.

Hey I enjoyed your build thread. You have done a lot! An offroad vacation sounds fun but I would not have a clue where to start. I do think I'm going with ICON Rebound wheels though. I was looking at the pro series but really don't need a bead lock.

I wouldn't go with their bead locking rebound wheels unless you off-road and air down to extremely low pressure. anything above 15-18psi, the regular rebound wheel is fine.

Bilstein 5100's, Morimoto gen 2 XB headlights and fog lights, TRD sway bar and skid plates. Nothing else needed!
good lookin rig. I've always been curious though- why do guys that offroad feel like they need so many lights? Are you really offroading at night to the point you need that much extra lighting? When my groupies and I go camping, by the end of the day's adventures we end up sitting around the fire and eating and drinking. I couldnt imagine a scenario when I needed that much light at night.... ?

I don’t know about other guys but for me, guess it’s just one of the things I like to decorate my truck with, you are right, I actually never wheeled at night and probably wont wheel at night too many times, but it’s one of those things I see my vehicle with, and also, for inclement weather conditions, it’s better to have something to increase the chance of you being seen by other, ie. a white out condition in highway etc.

Totally understand the night time/bad weather driving issue. I just haven't ever really understood when I see a truck that has rows and rows of lights. 4 wheeling at night is so sketchy and I wouldnt ever want my rig sliding down the side of a mountain just for some evening fun lol!

Could you tell me how you got this look on your rebounds? I just picked up a set and like the silver “beadlock” ring on yours.

I sanded the lip of the wheels and applied some clear coating. It does look good to me and is different. Lots of time to get them done but i think its worth it.
