I was at discount tire and the salesperson said I could fit 285/60/20 fully stock. I tried to do some research and see that people are running that set up on the tss rim. I don’t have the tss rim I have the 20” limited rim. Will that be a issue or should I should just stick with 275/60. Thank you in advance.

My truck came stock with 285/55/20.
285/60/20 would be a little over an inch taller and just as wide..

    After a 2.5 front lift, I now run 275/60/20s.
I feel the narrower tire drives a bit better than the wider 285/55 did.

The difference in offset between your Limited (might be +50) and TSS (+55) wheels is very small if any.
Around .2 of an inch if they are different at all...

I thought about going 285/60's but I didn't want to mess with rubbing or having to trim anything yet. Also with stock suspension. I went with 275/60 and am happy with em.

If I do a billy upgrade before I buy new tires, then I'll go bigger at that point.

    New to this site.

I currently have stock 20” premium wheels on a 2018 1794 and it came with 275/55/20R.

I’m planning on throwing a supreme 3” front/2” rear leveling kit on it and running 285/60/20R on the same stock wheels.
Here’s a pic of how is currently sits.

    Any suggestions?

    Welcome to the forum.
    The truck looks nice..

    At the risk of repeating myself;
I have a 2.5" front lift and 1" rear level on stock TSS (+55) wheels.

I'd suggest a 275/60/20 for your new tires for a couple of reasons.
It will be an inch taller and the same width as what you have now.
My Tundra came stock with 285/55/20 which are the same width as the 285/60/20.
I feel the truck drives and turns much smoother with the (only .5") thinner tire.
Also, it really doesn't look that much different as far as the tire width.

    upload_2023-1-29_11-15-50.jpg

The 285/60/20 will only get you another .5" in height (.25" of lift) and .5" in width plus about an average of 6 pounds of weight for each tire compared to the 275/60/20..
And they are quite a bit more expensive than a 275/60/20. (see below).

    upload_2023-1-29_11-12-56.jpg

Not recommending or saying you should purchase these tires, just examples of price differences.
I had KO (285/55/20) and KO2(275/60/20), they both got louder as they wore and neither really wore that well.
The same tire in the different sizes..

The difference is $312 + tax for the set.

    upload_2023-1-29_11-26-16.jpgupload_2023-1-29_11-26-32.jpg

The difference is $420 + tax for the set..

    upload_2023-1-29_11-27-24.jpgupload_2023-1-29_11-27-40.jpg

I will recommend this tire, I've been running for a year and I've been happy with it.

You might want to go a little lower in the back. 1.5 will get you close to level. If you want more rake stick with 2". Tires choices are more limited in 285/60/20 then 275/65/20 and about 15% higher in price. The 275s will be about .5" bigger in diameter giving you a .25" taller ride height.

I’ll be going with 275/65/20 with the 3/2 level.

    Will post update soon.

I'm gonna agree with this as well.

I had 2.5 of front lift with 6112s and the truck pretty much sat level.
Although I had nanny warnings on sharp fast turns.
It looks a little nose high but it measured level on the wheel wells.

I bought Toyotec shackles, they have a 1" and 1.5" setting.
I first opted for the 1.5 and it was WAY TOO HIGH..
    3733DCB6-FAEF-49B9-BA41-7B5A43CDDC24_zps_a856f00b79cbd6acb51db2e262c338974f59d82d.jpg

I then put them on the 1" setting.
Funny how an alleged .5" can make such a difference.
It pretty much has the stock rake back now, maybe a little less...
