I tried to get some methods but they turned out to be twice the price up here. The choices were limited to older styles as well.

There are. Well for now. Wheel Pros just announced layoffs at their Auburn Al plant. They are based out of Colorado.

UPDATE: Went to Americas Tire yesterday to have them installed but was turned away because they were not able to get more than 4 turns on the lug nuts (I had purchased 2 sets, acorn style and extended thread). Americas Tire will not install unless they can get a minimum of 7 turns on the lug nuts stating safety concerns. Upon further inspection, the extended thread lug nuts would not even fit through the hole where the stud comes through. On the Facebook Tundra forum that I'm on, I read that the Brink wheels would come pre-drilled for Tundra fitment and the set that I received was not. I've been in contact with BRINK/RimsOutlet and am curretly waiting on a resolution to make it right. From the FB group "There is new inventory now available in stock on the Brink Wheels now predrilled for the ET lug set up .. ET lugs now go out to all 2022 + Tundra orders. When lug nuts are ordered only the ET lugs will ship for the perfect fitment"

Is this something where you could knock out the studs and install some longer ARP studs?

Swapping for longer studs was brought up by the tech while at Americas Tire... but, havent looked in to it (yet) waiting to see how Brink/RimsOutlet responds. I've had a couple email responses so far... we'll see how it goes.

    Per RimsOutlet:

    Fitment Guarantee
In the unlikely event, your wheels don’t fit we’ll connect you with one of our fitment specialist who will be assigned to the case. Please note that Custom Wheels are just that, Custom and at times we will have to use methods in which to accommodate the fitment which can include the use of spacers. If we don’t find a method to accommodate the fitment we’ll certainly pick up the wheels right away and work with you on either getting you a replacement set or a refund. Please note that in order to prevent abuse, for questionable fitment issues we may require a work order from a shop describing the fitment issue in detail. Fitment Guarantee is good for the wheels and or tires recommended by our vehicle search tool. If the wheel or tire specs recommended are overwritten the fitment guarantee is no longer valid. If you’re looking for a fitment outside of our recommendations feel free to reach out to one of our fitment specialist in advance to get the fitment verified.

Admin Note: I'm not here to sell any wheels just here to respond to the requests made about our brand. I did attempt to become a sponsor back in December however I was declined at the time based on demand and need. If you feel we'll be a good fit today we're ready to jump onboard and will offer your members direct to consumer discounts.

    Good Morning,

Just stumbled upon this thread and thought I'd jump in and introduce myself as well as our company. My name is Mike I'm one of the founders at BRINK Wheels in addition to being a Yota fan and current owner of a 22' 1794 which I'll share below. In a nutshell BRINK Wheels was founded in 2020 and despite being a fairly new brand my partner and myself are Industry veterans with experience dating back to the 90s.

Our goal with BRINK Wheels was to produce a Flow Formed offering for trucks at an affordable price point. We Initially were focused on RAM, Chevy, GMC and Ford as at the time the Tundras were still 5x150 and that required a new mold in itself and for budgeting purposes we decided not to move forward with including the Tundras into our target vehicles. To our surprise in late 2021 Tundra finally transitioned to a conventional bolt pattern 6x139.7 and we Instantly added the new gen to our target vehicle mix.

As our first batch of wheels started to arrive was near the time the new gen Tundra was being released. I Immediately reserved one as I craved owning another Toyota since having sold my TRD Pro 4Runner which I loved. However the main goal was to learn more about the fitment limitations they offered as up to that point we had no ideas how our wheels were going to gel with the gen gen. Once my truck landed we Immediately installed lifted the truck and threw our wheels on it and to our surprise the fitment was pretty on point.

That's our story in a nutshell..... Below I'll address some of the feedback I see within this thread and will be happy to answer any additional comments you may have.

    > Why we haven't been mentioned on this forum?
    - In addition to being a newer brand the primary reason you don't hear much about us on we attempted to become a sponsor back in December and at the time we were declined. If you folks feel we'll be a good fit maybe you can help by tagging your favorite admin and letting them know.

    > Where are our wheels made?
Our primary factory is in Indonesia however that plant is expanding and at the moment we moved our molds to China temporarily while the expansion is being completed. We'd love to go the Made in USA route however regretfully no USA private label wheel manufacturers exist. The day one emerges we'll be the first in line. Nothing against China they make excellent wheels and our factory has been an OEM supplier for many notable brands and even is TUV approved which is not an easy citification to obtain. But we'd rather produce in the USA if the opportunity became available.

    > Lug hole drilling issue.
So I want to start by saying this isn't a BRINK Wheels exclusive issue this is any issue that many other brands are experiencing with Tundras. The issue is that the new gen Tundra studs are way shorter than any other full size trucks in the market. They did this as the wheels that come from factory are a super high offset wheel that barely has any mounting pad so they don't require a longer stud. The issue was first experienced by our local dealership which we have a close relationship with being Headquarter Toyota. We quickly realized that the issue could easily be resolved with ET lugs however our wheels had the industry standard lug hole size which doesn't accommodate the shaft of ET lugs. We later worked with a local machine shop that exclusively works on wheels and came up with the correct bore size required for the lug holes and we're currently pre drilling all our Tundra orders with them to accommodate ET lugs. No need to fear, they use the same exact equipment the factory uses when drilling out lug holes.

The good news is our factory has revised our lug holes moving forward to accommodate ET lugs and the two containers we currently have on the water of our most popular wheels are arriving factory drilled. As as you saw in the case of the other member that had the issue on this thread the moment he made us aware of the issue we picked up the wheels corrected the issues and sent them back. We thank that user for sharing that experience.

Lastly I wanted to share with you folks some images of the truck I purchase to learn more about the fitment limitations and some different fitment variations we've had with it.

As mentioned above I'll be happy to answer any questions you folks may have however out of the respect of me not being a sponsor I won't be addressing any sales related inquiries. If and when the admins allow me to become a sponsor I'll be more than happy to offer you folks direct to consumer deals.

    Mike

For those talking about/looking for USA made wheels, I don't know if any manufacturer or brand (maybe 1) that makes 100% of their entire line up in the USA any more.

Here's what I've been told or know for fact based on prior research:
    • U.S. Wheel - I think they are only brand that still makes all (or at least most) of their product lines in the US. Unfortuantely for us, they primarily focus on vintage reproduction wheels. I don't think they make any wheels for modern vehicles.
    • American Racing - They advertise their Forge Line as being designed & made in the US, but only their Forge Line. Most of their other wheel lines are made abroad.
    • Black Rhino - I'm pretty sure some of their wheels are made in the USA because of their contracts with the US Defense Department. If you purchase the same product line that are use on Bear Cats, MRAPs, M117's, and maybe HUMVEES, then those product lines should be US made. Of course those are mostly beadlock designs.
    • Battle Born Wheels - Their forged series & beadlock series are made in the USA here in Nevada. Veteran-owned company BTW.

Blacken out the logo on center caps and those would look even better. Wheels do look good tho. EZ to clean compared to mine.

I believe the US Wheel Steel Wheels are made in the USA but not sure of the cast. Black Rhino are made overseas and I don't know of any cases where they're used by the US Defense Department. Not stating it's not true but I have very strong contacts at WheelPros (the owner of the brand) and have yet to ever hear mention of any of that. Battle Born Wheels are indeed Made In The USA as they're forged.

For any wheel made by WheelPros Fuel, BlackRhino, American Racing, XD Wheels etc.... the way you tell if it's made in the USA is if the part # ends with US.

It's much easier to manufacturer a Forged Wheel than a cast wheel. For many years I worked in the Forged sector and out of a 15k sq ft facility with (3) CNC machines we ran 30 house designs and did private label work for 14 brands.

Here's something to note about the Forged Wheel industry though. We have a couple forging providers here in the USA with APP being one of the larger ones. Many of the brands I see online today I can tell you with 100% certainty use forgings made in China. I know this as I worked closely with production and know the cost of a USA produced forging and when I see wheels being sold for under what a USA forging cost Red Flags are raised (and I see it often). Not stating none of the brands mentioned go this route but most of the popular brands I see slanging forged I can assure you do.

With that said if you truly want a 100% American Product and going the forged route ask if the forgings used are made in the USA.

Not in the Immediate future but definitely at some point and possibly in 18x8.5. We do have a 22x10 in a +25 we're introducing 3rd quarter this year. It's a fitment we intended for 2wd sport trucks but can very well be used on Tundras for those looking for the larger diameter options.
