I watched a YouTube video about a company in California that dechromed the hybrid hood pieces. Looked like a lot of work. And unfortunately not easy to remove as there are actual holes in the hood where they attach… I think

 

Yeah, I saw the trd pro moldings on YotaGarage mention drilling holes required. I'm thinking they may be there to ensure the position is correct. Can't see anything under the hood to remove nuts or anything. I'll try finding that video. Thanks.

Wow, the end result looks great, but that's quite a process to get there! Not sure if my skillset will result in that good of an outcome. I may look at buying a second set of moldings and trying my hand at those. Then just replace if it turns out nice.

The TRD Pro hood moldings are different. They are matte instead of glossy and have a different layout that sits lower on the hood and wraps down the outside edge. I saw a guy modifying one of those in another thread. Wouldn't mind exploring an option like that, but put an iForce Max logo instead of TRD Pro.

 

What did you end up using for the Chrome Delete?

 

Paint & gloss black OEM parts.

 

Where did you get those parking mats? I've been looking for something like that since I don't really want anything too permanent like a painted stripe lol.

People like to put down RC lifts but I have No issues with them and right now they are the only ones with a 6 inch lift for the 2022. I ultimately want a 8 inch lift and maybe 40” tires so waiting to see what Skyjackers, etc comes out with in the future. Right now the tires are 37” NITTO Ridge grapplers. Thanks bro………,

Picked mine up earlier this past week on Monday… now I just need spring so we can clean her up nice!

I actually had ordered a 2022 SR5 when I came across this 2022 Limited 4X4 Hybrid.
I could not resist the SuperSonic Red.
I would see it in the internet and in the brochure but it is a color red that you have to see in person and one I did I had sales doing the paperwork within 5 minutes of seeing it.
