TRD Pros Availability

I think from the time I was looking for my truck (about March 2022) to now, I think I've seen like 2 - maybe 3 Pros at dealerships.

Anyone actually see any of these on lots or are people waiting months for these things? The one I saw was upwards or 100K (due to dealer price gouge) so I can't imagine there's too many.

 

There’s one on the lot at Landers Toyota here in Little Rock. A white one.

 

Ive been after one in Portland (and throughout the state of Oregon and into Washington) for almost a year and in that time have reached out to every dealer around and if and when they happen to get a pro it is snatched up super quick. Many dealerships have lists (allotment), some do not (first come first serve), some dealerships will not sell to me because I am not in their service area. But, all in all this entire time I have only heard of 2 actual Pro's. there was a dealer up here who had a slightly used S.O. that was being listed for $93k I think everything you are hearing is true, they are rare and go fast.

Community Toyota in Baytown, TX has a lunar rock pro on the ground, solar octane in coming. No over charging, but does sell for mrsp. Smaller dealer great people.

 

Yup, I'm on the list at 4 dealerships right now for a Solar Octane. Every pro is being purchased or spoken for before they hit lots. If the buyers back out, thats about the only time they sit for a day or two.

Luckily deposits are always refundable in WA state, so I dont mind having a few down.

 

Website listing doesn’t necessarily mean it’s available. Mine was listed on the web page for 3 weeks before it arrived and I picked it up.

 

They’ve been available in the Houston area pretty regularly. I turned down two before I bought my platinum.

 

I wonder if Texas dealers have a bit of advantage since you're so close?

 

Maybe? There’s also a ton of Toyota dealerships here so it probably increases the odds of someone having one. I just looked again and there’s only one currently in the area that’s physically on the lot with no sale pending. There were three at the two dealers closest to me when I got mine, including a Solar Octane.
