Tundra Inspection Hold

Does anyone know why 2023 Tundra's are being held for inspections? I have a 2023 that was shipped in December and it went on an inspection hold for 56 days

 

Welcome to QC Hold hell (and to the forums). There are several threads on the topic already, but the basics are that all of the trims that have the LCD display dash are being held for a software fix related to some vehicles having that display go blank. The hold started on 12/22, and is set to end on 2/15 (56 days as you noted). Some lucky few people have had their trucks released and delivered, so the software update must already exist. Good luck, there are many of us suffering with you.

 

My 12/12 build 1794 has been at port since the end of December. Still waiting for it

 

I was one of the lucky few that had the 12/22 - 56 Day QC Hold released early.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the truck is very much worth the wait! I know that its easy for me to say that since I have my truck but hang in there folks, your day will come soon!
