I know there is already a thread on this so this may need to be deleted but I wanted to try and make as many people aware as possible. After driving on wet roads due to rain and melting snow, both I and a friend have excessive moisture under our drivers side floor mats. Toyota corporate (Canada) has given an unacceptable excuse of it coming from our feet. Anyone with a 3rd gen who has driven in similar conditions, do yourself a favour and check under the mat on the drivers side.

Probably a body plug that is incorrectly installed or was left out, or incorrectly applied seam sealer. May be able to look under the truck and see it if it’s a missing plug.

I’ve been dealing with it at my dealership. Even after showing them the posts from another member about water coming up through the floor boards due to failed sealant, they are saying Toyota Canada is blaming a poorly designed all weather floor mat. If you get enough water or melted snow, there is a possibility that it will drain towards the center console and gas peddle.

FYI, Some 2.5 Gen people had issues with leaking 3rd brake light but I think water or some moisture was collected under the back seats.

It could be coming from the windshield urethane... it may not have been sealed properly. Removing the plastic a pillar trims inside might show some signs of water in the ridges of the plastic after it rained.. Just a though :(
