Looking for the best air filter for a 4.6
I have heard the stock airbox is sufficient enough but looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance

If by best, you mean best at filtering the incoming air to the engine, then the factory air filter is tough to beat. You can use a different brand air filter, such as Fram, Wix, or Purolator. Just know they are rarely less expensive the one from the dealer.

OEM is best. You can go aftermarket and let more air in, but you're letting more dirt in too. IMO it's not a good trade-off for the tiny amount of performance you'd gain.

    Too many, but not enough....
If you cant get OEM, which is pretty much the same price as aftermarket, pretty sure Purolator and Wix are the best filtration.
