    Cool.

Do you have dyno results before and after?

None. I don’t make the intake, Toyota did, and it made more power. I Only make the adapter. It’s too inexpensive of a part which will be sold in too low a volume to make it worth it to ‘prove’ that it makes more power. But it’s part of why the 05-06 is good for 40 more Hp. You’ll just have to go off anecdotal gains reported by literally everybody whom has ran one so far

It’s a direct bolt on for 03-04 trucks no adapter needed. Just use the 05-06 throttle body it’s sore plug n play:)

It would be interesting to see where it moves the torque curve without the dancing cams.

Nice video Keith! Looks like a high-quality product.

note for people interested - If you have an all-aluminum radiator (Mishimoto, CSF, etc) that is thicker than the stock rad, the intake pipe is not going to fit. My stock intake '00 makes contact with the fan shroud simply with the additional thickness of the radiator. Add the thickness of that spacer and there is no way it will clearance.

Hmmn. We’re planning to appear at Superstition this weekend. Maybe someone with a YouTube account can post a vid. I gotta say though, I really tied Keith’s hands. I LOVED the low key rumble Hulk had at start up after Bruce cut the tailpipe after the cats and OEM muffler and added a ~ 9” downturn. I wasn’t going for dude sound and pleaded with Keith to get it as close as possible to the original.

    *so Keith doesn’t have to

Not to be a hater, but there's also variable valve timing on the '05-'06.

Indeed. Curious if the variable intake runners are coordinating with the VVTi (highly likely) to produce the additional power. Sounds like there is a noticeable difference, although anecdotal. This is like the 12 hole injectors that have lots of performance claims, but haven’t seen any real evidence to support it. Cool to have tinkering options, appreciate anyone from industry that is still interested in supporting the FGT platform, so for that, thank you.

This is true. Which is a big part of the gains. But I have personally tested just the intake. So have others. It’s a great mod for the money.

Does the variable intake upgrade help in low-end torque at all, or just higher RPMs?

    Find somebody with:

    05-6 intake
    Throttle body coolant bypass
    Stock air box mod
    Dirtydeeds injectors
    Plugs n coil packs

AND RACE THEM from a dig and a roll. You’ll make plans to do the above things as you stare at their taillights;)

Only helps mid range to top end. Anytime there isn’t vacuum in the intake it goes short runner.

    Very cool!
Hope my first post didn't come across as negative. Just asking.

Thanks for developing new products for our older trucks.

I did some more peeking under my hood, and I think stock intake tube might fit. aftermarket intake definitely not as it is already rubbing the fan shroud.

If you put electric fans on like I did, you should have plenty of room.

When/where is this available for purchase? Seems like the only option out there for my 2002 to swap the later intake on.

Also to anyone running it, has this produced any notable change in milage?

I saw that but figured it wasn’t an urgent enough question to call him. And given how little information I could find on this topic elsewhere it would be a nice reference for others if the answers were posted publicly for now.

Buy it from him, keep in mind Dirty Deeds is a business and Keith/ DD likely did all the R&D for this which costs money and time.

    Otherwise do your own legwork.
