KBB Resale Values

3 Yotas in the top 5: Taco, 4R and Tundra. Surprised on 2 others ones in the top 5, Jeep Wrangler and Chevy Silverado.

After 3 years, Tacos hold 72% of original value (which helped when trading in for a Tundra), 4R 64% and Tundras 61%. Not too shabby.

 

I am in the car business (wholesale cars through KBB), as well as market for locked off road, and the blue book value on Toyotas hold up better than anything I have ever seen. Even 6 or 7 year old tacomas with very high miles still book for around $18k to $20k

 

You can just look at used car prices and see Tundras in the '12 to '14 range are still being listed at very high prices. I know list price, is not "sold" price...but some I see listed are just a few thousand less than what I paid for new. Works for me.

 

Its crazy I just sold a 14 crewmax SR5 the other day with the 5.7 and only 2wd and book value was still a little over $30k

 

Used Wranglers go for crazy high prices here in CO. Especially Denver Metro area.

 

even here in California they are priced high
