What kind of paint did you use? I’m thinking of doing this also but not sure if plasti dip is a good idea due to heat.

Looks good for a few weeks then it starts to lift off from the heat.

Anyone know how to remove the Toyota emblem from the engine cover? Pretty sure it’s plastic welds but before I drill the out has anyone else done it differently?

I want to do something with the iForce bit but I’m afraid I’ll screw it up and that one mistake will take away from the rest of the cover, lol. I used a brush to do the 5.7L V8 letters, but I don’t think my hand is steady enough to do the iForce thing.

Next up is the fusebox cover, and some part of the intake but I’m not sure which.

For the fusebox cover, I was considering getting a stencil that looks like this:
    1A59189B-48EF-466C-8876-27D22B4E1FFA.jpg

And putting that on, spray painting the cover, then peeling it off to leave that outline behind in black.

Damn! So i sprayed VHT clear coat on the engine cover and now it looks like its turning yellow.... Anyone have any idea how to get it off without stripping all my hours of work off and starting again all to not clear coat it? I was thinking to you a fine sand paper and try to buff off the top layer.
