Searched and didn't see anything on here and looking on Amazon and eBay I see crappy covers for the steering wheel.

What I am looking to do is get the "feel" of the Tacoma steering wheel on my tundra. uploadfromtaptalk1435777853376.jpg essentially I want it to be like that.

I thought of a few things.

    1) Are the steering wheel sizes the same in the Tacoma and tundra?

    2) if they are, could I essentially remove the horn and front pieces leaving only the "wheel" part off the Tacoma steering wheel and remount my tundra horn and front pieces to the wheel and then mount the reassembled steering wheel to the column?

I bet I could find a cheap steering wheel off a scrapped trd off road.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Sanity check? Anyone own a tundra and a Tacoma? Haha

It's like we always said... "Leave it better then we found it" I take it to heart and use it as justification for my "mod itch" haha

(my thread so I'm going to go off topic real quick)Pretty much anyone who is willing to serve their country is a hero in my book and everyone does their part. but because I started off as a grunt I will always have a special place in my heart for them. I have never had a more fiercely loyal, passionate about EVERYTHING(fighting, booz, women,eh that's pretty much it, lol), crazy group of men in one place at the same time as I did in my platoon in Iraq. We, Marines, take things to extremes for no reason other then to just do it to see if we could. Its something I learned to value. So that being said. Yea I need a sanity check every once in a while. Haha

I know this has been awhile, but if you are still interested, I bought this Tocoma cover for my 2016 Tundra. Installed and I think it looks pretty good. Sec. Pics. Hope this helps.

@Branj I replaced mine with a tacoma one. Just change everything from the old wheel to the tacoma one. Found mine on ebay for decent price. I rented a puller for freeIMG_1024.jpg
