    Have a 2022 Tundra. Issues:
PIN requests continues to come up WHILE I AM DRIVING !!! Isn’t this a safety issue??? How do I remove that ? It’s my truck, why do I need a PIN ???
No memory seats…. This is a STANDARD feature in every other vehicle, why isn’t it in a $70k truck ??
Lane assistant… why does it follow the seams in the concrete and NOT the actual lane lines ?
These are safety issues…. When is Toyota going to fix ? Or is there a fix already???

Who did you purchase it from ???

Do they not have a service department to answer these questions ???

You spend that kind of money , you SHOULD be talking to TOYOTA folks and then asking us if this is what we get for results also..

Forums are great "sound boards" but 1st post as a "Bash" will light the :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

    Good luck with TOYOTA

Lol you paid 70k for a tss tundra?

And no memory seats are not standard on every other vehicle , it’s usually at least a option on mid packages before being standard on top trims

I had to delete the user profile in the Toyota app and set a new pin. Dealer showed me this. You can also hit the red sos button and talk to a rep to help you.

Go to your app in your phone and reset your pin.

I have reset my pin. That isn’t the problem. The message to put the pin in comes when I am driving.. not before I start to pull out of my driveway but after I’m driving. I want to turn this off…. Any way to do that???

    I doubt it...
For some reason, the pin expires sometimes... About once a month for me. Then it just pops up and asks to re enter it.

3” lift kit, 35’s, WW flares, tonneau etc.
Mine started doing that the other day. Searched this forum for fixes till I found the one that worked (so far)
Key to ignition on, but not running.
After changing pin on app and entering on screen, I had to go into my profile settings scroll down and match my key fob to my driver profile. (Slide bar)
    That stopped it.
If I ever get a second key fob, I’ll have to do it again.
Second driver profile with different phone needs to do it as well apparently…

Thank you for those with helpful advice…
    Yes I am a Princess …
All my vehicles have memory seats including my 1999 GMC truck and 2013 Hyundai Elantra… You would think Toyota would have this feature.. just my opinion… have a nice day.

70k? Did you buy an sr5 for that price?
If so that’s mighty expensive. For 70k the 1794 are adequate.

I’m getting a fully loaded platinum with tonneau, spray in liner , advanced package etc and the sticker isn’t even 70

the tss is based off an sr5 truck i think so it’s no where near 70k, just an exaggeration to try and draw reactions

They show a capstone starting at 70k on the Toyota build site.

Only thing Im a little disappointed in is the lack of cool headlights and DRL’s for a 60+ K truck. I got cheaper cars with them. ;) But no real big deal.

Lack of cool headlights? You have a Limited. What is not cool about them?

Just basic LED reflectors, if you dont get the premium headlight package they are pretty much basic lights, look at my avatar. They still have great output but I didn’t know the difference when I bought it. It probably would not have stopped me though.

@TundraPrincess Maybe this is related to the head unit HU TSB? Ask your dealer.

Gotcha. I came from a ‘19 Ram with steering responsive lights. But, tbh, the output and color of the Tundra is just as good.

So you're finally taking the plunge with the '23? At all apprehensive or totally confident?

At least the lighting aspect of the headlights across the trims are the same and one of the best available. One of the reasons I opted to pass on fully loaded SR5’s was I wanted the sequential lights

i decided to take the plunge yes, I have my allocation set and it’s being built on Feb 27th or so they say for now

While I’m not 100% confident , I’ve been following closely and Toyota has really picked up the pace on solving the known issues and the turbo deal seems long over.

the biggest one I’m concerned with is wind noise but even that seems to be better in the more recent builds

so , off we go. I’m ready for a better smoother ride and upgraded truck, kinda tired of the 300lbs of sand in the back to get it to ride decent , maybe I’m just getting older , lol

A decent size part of taking the plunge is that I have a good dealer , there is no bs. If something isn’t working , they fix it, I brought this truck there as well 2016

I’m also getting the wife a new sienna the 25th anniversary one.

We got both of what we wanted in the same allocation lol, how odd is that

    I sure hope so, ha!

so no stash bs for me, also doing the flares color match

Thanks for taking the time. I've been watching intently on build quality after passing on my 2/2/22 TRD OR build with all of the madness at that time.
Also have a decent dealer but I'm 80 miles away in unforgiving country, want to be sure I'm not playing that QC game.

I get it, it does appear better at the moment , we’ll see

the other thing is imo the qc game will always be there a little with any new vehicle as they are all so complicated now. It is what it is if you want a new vehicle in that regard
