I have a 22 Capstone with the I-force max engine, anyone have experience with the Shiftpower 4.0+ by Faaftech. Can’t find much info on this, any help is appreciated.

Purchased a unit maybe a month ago. Wasn't expecting anything to radical but have been pleasantly surprised in its effectiveness. Easy plug an play as advertised and does offer numerous variations in throttle responses. On the fairly low eco like setting it does smooth out the sometimes twitchy abruptness when taking off. On the other end of the spectrum it noticeably bumps up the off the line and rolling response of the throttle and truck. Dialed all the way up it is pretty abrupt and will get you side ways at low speed roll on to the point where you can be caught off guard.
At this point I am still at times using the remote supplied pad to adjust at various times. At the o/a 200 dollar price point it appears worth it.

Faaftech is on Amazon and has very few reviews, but the reviews seem positive. Be sure to get the SP26 (verify model) since that is the one for Toyota's. Looks similar to a lot of the throttle controllers out there, so if you like it go for it.
For me, the small customer base would make me uneasy especially with there being other options. I also don't like that you have to connect it to your phone to adjust it. But if neither of those things bother you, give it a whirl.

—one correction, you do NOT need phone to adjust, I used phone a few times to play with app but now just use supplied control within normal reach that changes color to match the various settings from mild, white, to full ,red/orange.

Thanks! I didn't fully read it but I thought that was just a display. Glad you can adjust without the phone, thanks for correcting

Can't say for the new Tundra, but for my '18 the throttle controller has made a world of difference and I love having it.

I just installed it. i have to say I really like it. It is much more responsive from a stop even on the lower dynamic setting which is where I keep it most of the time. I have the non hybrid model that has a little turbo lag if gunning it off the line. With the Shiftpower, it virtually eliminates the lag. The higher settings are great if you really want to let it all out but it can be a little too abrupt to almost uncontrollable. I like that is has a valet and anti-theft lock mode through the app. It was super easy to install and doesn't change any thing in the programming of the truck that could give warranty issues. I would definitely recommend especially for the non hybrids. Not too sure how much difference it would make with hybrid models.

I’m using the Raxiom speed form one and it’s great. Wanted to see how this did for only 92$ and works just as good as the pedal commander and all.

I ran across this one the other day. Have you used a pedal commander? Curious cause off like to get that delay front a rolling stop gone.

Yes I have used a pedal commander before. Wanted to try this one since it was way cheaper and does all the same except doesn’t have a app like pedal commander but you get a small screen to shift on the fly

Posting here to share that the Launchpad throttle controller does NOT fit the new tundra. Tried to install last night, the molding doesn't fit the tundras design. Bummer because it was only around $110 with discount. They are offering a free return.

Can anyone personally verify if the hike it will fit the new Tundra? To build off my previous post I've tried the Launchpad and it just didn't fit, so I don't have to go through the whole purchase and return process again. I know the pedal commander fits but I kind of like the launch feature of the hike it.

I bought one and like it. Bought it mainly for the lock and valet functions. I lock the throttle every time before I turn off the truck so don’t worry too much about someone taking it. Or if they do, they’re probably not getting very far.

I like mine. Use the lock function every time I get out of the car. And increasing the throttle curve feels a lot better to me.

Purchased a ShiftPower but am struggling to get original connection decoupled from above gas pedal. Watched numerous YouTube videos but still stumped. Any hints on getting disconnected so I can install the ShiftPower would be appreciated.

    Thank you
