So with c19 in America I've only driven my truck 3_4 times just run it with the 4 wheel drive to keep it working. So twice now about 3 week intervals I hop in start up truck with no problem an the clock reads 8am. Anyone know why this would happen?? Everything else works fine. Just a strange event. Reset clock an it process to run correctly. Thanks

There is a setting to make the clock sync with gps (if you have nav). Sometimes mine says - - : - - for a few minutes until it gets a signal. You can change that. If this isn’t your issue, your battery might be going bad.

After rereading your post and seeing the 3 week interval thing, you might want to invest in a battery maintainer and keep it plugged in so you battery doesn’t go bad.

I never play with mine. Easiest place to start would be the owners manual and youtube.

Maybe you wipped the prev sat coordinates when removing the battery and it will have to sit a while to find and sync back up?

Have you kept it running in one clear spot for 10min?

Clock is set by GPS signal, when do signal it defaults to 8am at least in the 2021+ units.

Could try removing battery to hard reset the head unit. Might have to remove headunit and very GPS antenna is fully connected good. Some users have had GPS antennas not plugged in all the way.

I removed the battery and tried hard reset. It didn’t work

let it sit in one spot running for 10 min. It didn’t work.

next I will remove the head unit to make sure everything is connected correctly.

Thank you all for your help. I got it to work. I did the reset and as I was messing with some of the options it had this code B15C1 on the unit. I took the radio unit out and turns out some how the antenna wire was unplugged from the radio unit. I don’t know how it came off when I haven’t removed my radio.
