Has anyone ever used the clay mitt's they sell. Seems a lot simpler to use vs a clay bar as you dip the mitt in car wash soap and just do a rub down.

I use the Griot's Garage Clay Pad - works great!

The big benefit is that if you happen to drop the clay mitt/pad, you can rinse it off and keep working. With a clay bar, you have to throw it away because it just picked up all the sand, dirt and grime off the ground.

I've used clay bar a few times and takes a while, I bought some clay mitts but haven't used them yet. Seen a lot of people like the clay mitts.

I may give in and buy one for this truck. It's been years since I hand washed a truck and that took to much effort. I'd hate to try and clay one the traditional way. The videos and reviews I've seen said the mitts and pads do well for the majority of applications.

+1 for the Griots Clay Pad.
I've always used 'traditional' clay and saw the Griots version at Vato Zone and picked one up.
Used it for the 1st time a couple days ago, and IMO it works just as good if not better than traditional clay.
    Much easier, and much faster.
Seems to be made well and I think it will last longer than a wad of clay.
It's nice that you can keep rinsing it as you go as well.

I use the clay pad on a Porter cable orbital- works great and very easy to use-would never go back to a clay bar.
