Both! I love how they look but am simply unwilling to pay that much.

I did follow a pro taco on my way home the other day for about 10 miles. Got a good view of the ass end but was thinking it could use a bit more offset. :stirthepot:

And bed stiffeners. Plus cutting down the rack from the Tindra to fit and getting my RTT back on as well.

Greenlane's are stainless steel. That's why I bought them but, be warned, there are still customs you have to pay even though they claim you don't.

Stainless is definitely a nice thing but I've already decided on allpros, I like their design best and rust shouldn't be an issue under a topper.

Ah, I can see where some would prefer that design. With the short bed I didn't want the dual hook points to eat what little space I have. Lol

Lol I get that. Honestly the main reason I like them is because on the part that touches the bed the only raised spot is the very corner gusset whereas some of them have giant gussets that go the length of the bottom part and I feel like that would be annoying when trying to slide stuff in that's wide and comes near the edges of the bed. Also I just thought it was cool how high up the side of the bed they go.

I can see the appeal. I actually didn't want anything running up that high. The gap where the bed curves would bother me, and I want to drill as few holes as possible. I felt Greenlane was the best compromise and the SS was a bonus. I also confirmed that they can be installed on opposite sides to keep the the intrusion into the bed at a minimum. I'll go opposite of the pic below so they will be closer to the tailgate.

They definitely seem nicer than the majority of the options. There's actually a crap ton of them to choose from out there and some of them (mainly the cheap ones on Amazon) are pretty lackluster looking lol

Agreed. They don't advertise it well, but they come with a vmbacking plate as well. That was a selling point for me.

For pure looks, yeah. A little more poke looks good. In reality I'm already beating the shit out of the sides just driving down my road. I'll keep it stock.

Same reason I am maintaining stock offset. I've done the poke thing a couple times now and while it looks great it majorly flings rocks, dirt, mud, and salt all over the place when you have the tires poking out.

Understandable! If my truck was newer I’m sure I would have the same sentiment of trying to minimize the damage to the sides as much as possible.

Clear coat, hell. I've got chips well beyond the clear. Thin paint is all an attempt to cut weight as much as possible for the ever tightening noose of the EPA. Makes me angry.

I've seen this one, but don't remember where. It seems ideal for something like the bed inflator or some lights in a camper shell, but the fact that it only works when the truck is running makes it situational at best. It certainly wasn't a selling point of the truck for me. Best use case I would think is the compressor.

Hey guys new to the Forum but found this page on a google search looking to do similar as OP, found https://www.aacenter.net/specialty-custom-trailers/motorcycle-trailer 2nd and 3rd picture and was wondering if anyone has seen anything comparable or has an experience towing with their Tundra and or using one? Thanks! Looks to be a little more fancy than your basic enclosed cargo trailer found for sale just about anywhere.

I have a friend that built out an enclosed trailer like that. I think his is a 12 footer. His has a pull down bed, wood stove, air conditioner, tv, DVD player, and a solar/battery setup.
He can still haul 3 dirt bikes in it. Very comfortable way to spend the weekend camping and riding. He tows his with a diesel Colorado.
