Looking to put a pro grill on my 21 platinum, reading some info out there that that may not be possible with the 21's. Does anyone have exp. or insight on this? Appreciate the help in advance.

I think they all fit just the TSS is what's different 14-17 / 18-21? Or some sites haven't updated compatibility?

You should be able to make the swap, unless you are looking at the old TRD PRO grilles from 2019+. Even then it's possible, but you have to get a relocation bracket for the TSS sensor that is behind your emblem. All still doable.

Install is easy, the bad part is the sensor. Its like $250-300.

The sensor he has will transfer over. Or do you mean the sensor garnish/plate that covers it?

These guys are swapping the middle only. The OEM are not sold with just the insert. You have to buy the whole surround as well.

The sensor garnish is just a piece that is sold separately. Any dealership should be able to easily get one. Lots of members on here use @SparksParts now that the Ultimate OEM thread has kinda gone to crap after the gubbermint wanted their piece of the pie.

I actually just did this and installed mine last night. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Drove 86 miles today already and no errors on dash from the TSS sensor. Fit and finish were perfect with no noticeable defects or quality control issues.

Looks great! I'm kinda considering going with this grill to replace my old style Pro grill.

    Hello hello!
I did this to my 2021 also, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out as I hate the chrome on all 2nd gen.
I did copious amount of research because I was scared it wouldn't be compatible or throw error codes but surprisingly it didnt!
I got my order from SparkParts as it was the most reasonable in terms of price to quality. Install was super easy and it made a world of a difference! Ill show some before and after pics!

I think the proper garnish is needed for the TSS to work properly. I get an insurance discount for having the Radar. It's a drag it's not up on the windshield like most cars.

There have been some fleabay and scamazon garnishes that have worked, and others that have not. It's a gamble, but many have had success with knockoffs.

Not sure anyone has the radar in the windshield. The cameras are up there, even on the Tundra, but the radar sensor is usually down in the bumper or grille because it needs to be at that level to "see" what is ahead.
