So it's been lightly raining/drizzling overnight, and when I got in the truck this morning the parking sensor won't go off. Constant tone, not beeping.

I park close enough to my garage door that it beeps but stops as soon as I back away.

Anybody had this happen, and did it fix itself when it dried out?

    Thanks in advance!

Something might be on the sensor. Like mud or such.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. I got out and gave them a quick wipe but didn't see anything.

My front sensors started doing this in the rain but only when the truck is stopped. When moving there's no issue. Mine seemed more like the right side. I wiped it a few times to try to adjust the sensor position and it seemed to help. If it gets bad enough I'll pull the fog light and see if i can reach the sensor from inside.

Mine did it stopped, moving, turned it off then back on when I was in the street nowhere near anything, still screaming.

Now that it's dried a bit, it has stopped. Apparently, the fix is to turn it off until the sun comes out. We shall see, I just get nervous about electronics and water.

Maybe seal on sensor is compromised and moisture is getting in?

Mine did start after I had the dealership adjust the front bumper fitment when I deleted chrome and went to plastic bumper caps. Something probably got tweaked then.

the front passenger side does the same thing after a light rain. I would have to take the sensor off the bumper to wipe it clean, disconnect it and use a compressor to clean the connection. annoying as hell

That happened to me the other day. Front left. When I stopped at a light I just turned it off and back on and it stopped.
