Yes, it automatically turns on with the ignition and records in a loop. It's been a minute since I looked at the setting but I think you can set the length you want you videos to be, if I recall correctly mine are 1min long each. Front and rear videos are separate videos, though when you are viewing the live feed through your phone it is a picture-in-picture, rear camera smaller in the lower left of the screen with the front camera in the back taking up the entire screen.

If you are looking on their website, I never did see one on there, I ordered mine through Amazon
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B399PKZD?ie=UTF8&th=1
As for power, you get power from behind the plastic piece behind the rear view mirror, where the rear view mirror gets power from. You unplug that connection and place a hardness between, allowing the mirror to function as normal and also supply power to the cameras. It's a very simple and clean install, longest part is the time it took to run the wire to the rear camera, no running wires for power.

    Too many, but not enough....
How and where did you power the rear camera?

Is the 50 dollar difference between 4k and 2k worth it you think?

I love my Thinkware Q800Pro (it included front and rear cameras). I hardwire it myself, easy peasy.

2014. Just has the 'way too small' mirror that's actually delaminating. I'd love Homelink.

I have a 2017 trd pro. I ordered this camera fitcamx from the link above and it doesn’t seem to fit. My mirror is powered but I only have a small cover behind the mirror that must not be compatible with the new cover even though the product description says it will fit. Anyone else experience this?5632461A-DABE-413A-BF1C-EC92E2BDB174.jpg

Sorry, I didn't see the notification on this post. Honestly, I don't think so. The 2K Front + 1080 Rear option wasn't there when I ordered or I probably would have gone with that option.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the plastic housing the FitcamX system replaces is a cover to the AHB (Automatic High Beam) Sensor which is apart of the TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) and that was introduced to the Tundra in 2018. So that is probably why yours looks different, they should update their description to note 2018-2021 model years only.

I have a 21 SR5 and my cover is smaller than what they show so it wouldn't fit either. Bummer.

Hmm, ok, I guess I haven’t paid attention to that area on other Tundras
