Anyone else have a rattle that sounds more like a buzz akin to bee in a tin can that sounds like it's coming from behind the instrument cluster or around that area? Only happens at certain rpms 30-60mph. It's maddening.

Dude! I have the exact same issue. At lower speeds, on bumpy roads, I also get this plastic/metal tapping noise. Driving me insane.

I think I am going to try to pop off the dash portion below the steering wheel and take a look. Can't see shit when looking upward from where the pedals are.

Yes and it's driving me to drinking!!!!!

Except mine is in dash at passenger side. Couple good ol hard slams on that side of the dash seems to temporarily help. I'm still under warranty and of course never able to reproduce when at the stealership...

If it's on the passenger side footwell it may be the ECU/ECM. https://www.tundras.com/threads/buzzing-ecm-solutions.36116/#post-922114

I tried banging around the dash when it was happening-nothing. I swear it's coming from directly behind the RPM gauge or thereabouts.

Ok, try this-wad something like paper towel and wedge it between dash and glass in that area and see if it helps.

Same but I feel like mine is in the lower portion behind the cluster. I could see a metal tunnel that runs up there. Leads me to believe that a wire loom is rattling/tapping on the metal tunnel

I had a very similar rattle. Turns out the way the block heater cord was run it had some slack and was rubbing on the heat shield by the steering column on the fire wall.

Same buzzing / rattle. I just went over 2k miles when it started. So far the sound is clearly heard:
first time I drive it in the morning even though it’s summer
Somewhere behind the dash center or 14 in display, or center front speaker
Seems to be right around 1700 - 1800 RPM at any road speed or gear
This is strange but for example if something like a large dump truck with a loud exhaust is near, the buzzing gets worse?
Also strange, I use Car Play which normally works great but during the buzzing/ rattling sound it’s like Siri doesn’t hear me?

It’s almost seems like some sort of mic / sound system feed back issue or (JBL piped in engine sound)?
So far this is only forum I’ve read about the problem, but at least I know I’m not the only one with the problem.

My rattle ended up being the driver side hood hinge. Drove me nuts for two months and tore the dash apart 10 times. Ended up stuffing some foam in the hinge area and its been gone for 3 months.....

I have a noise that sounds like it's near the speaker or A-pillar area.

For me, the grille on the driver's dash speaker was making a little noise. Probably 'cause a broke a tab on it when removing

I would pull the speaker cover and put some felt tape on the clips and a few of the plastic to plastic mating surfaces.

at certain temps I get a creak from the drivers side grip handle that I installed, when going over bumps.
I have tried felt underneath and torquing the grip handle bolts tighter and looser but it still happens.

I think the trick to not letting these things bother you is to leave some stuff in the truck that rattles louder and you know what it is.
You just say I need to move that stuff. But you never do..... 8^0

Louder sound system fixes all sorts of undesirable noises.

I know it sounds crazy, but make sure your engine firewall (in the engine bay) is tight. I had dash rattles, tightened that and it went away

Thought mine was in that same area. Tore apart the a-pillar and speaker multiple times. Was the good hinge….

2022 Tundra 1794 Edition - started getting what I would call a harmonic vibraiton creating a buzzing sound. Around 30-35mph and around 1800 rpm. Also if a loud truck went by it could also be heard. A freind of mine that works for Toyota and I tracked it down. The plastic cover that sits behind the rearview mirror was the culprit. We pushed on the cover and it "cliped" back into place - have not had an issue since. Hope this helps others.
