Can anyone tell me why it's necessary to use wheel spacers with the TRD pro coachbuilder lift kit?

It's for if you're running factory wheels with the lower offset. If you get a set of aftermarket wheels with the proper specs the spacers are not required. Pic for attention. #nospacersIMG20220617160551.jpg

I know about the 60 offset.
But if you don't use spacers with the tires rub?
    I have Maxxis RAZR 295 70 18 which are 34.5 x12.
Wanted to know what I have to do so they will fit..
Lots of people on here say they use that size tire without any rubbing issues on the TRD pros.

Also some people say spacers will make rubbing worse.

It's to avoid potentially rubbing the UCA, when you add caster to the suspension it increase the chance of your tires touching the UCA during hard turns/reverse , specially if you run wider tires, so the wheel spacers is there to eliminate the chance if you run stock wheels.

BUT, it may not rub, it's kinda tire dependent,

Ok thanks now it makes sense. Thank you for the help.
I think these Maxxis RAZRs are wider than most 295 70 18 s. I'll have to see..

You can always sell them very quickly here if you decide not to use them, they definitely make the truck look "right".

I'm going to get them on.
Just trying to figure out what exactly I need to do that.
I was thinking coachbuilder kit for the TRD pro. However I'm a little hesitant seeing how I emailed them twice now without any response.

Give David a call. He has answered almost every time I've called (a dozen or more.) Made the mistake of using westcott on the front. The ride is harsh, bumpsteer, and wanders pretty bad- getting rid of that garbage and putting CB on

The exact reason for it, and this is coming from David, is that the coachbuilder steering kit will rub on the oem wheel due to the massive offset the oem wheel has. The steering knuckle will hit the wheel. If you dont install the upgraded steering kit, you dont actually need spacers if you stick with a normal (close-ish to oem) tire size. Once you go big, without a spacer you are gonna rub the UCA.
