I have a 2012 tundra with nitto terra grapplers. 17" 295 wheels. What is the proper PSI. Should it differ from front to rear? I don't off road nor tow anything just want a good smooth ride and have them last a long time

I was just contemplating that myself. May pressure on my side wall says 80, door obviously says a lot less. I just want long life and couldn't care less about ride quality because I drive so little. Watch thread? Yessir.

I have stock size 275/65's filled with nitrogen and run them at 40 lbs. Tires are wearing great. IMO, the numbers in the door are more for comfort and less about the longevity of the tire.

39 psi. My garage floor is so dusty it acts as a natural chalk test. Yes, I'm lazy like that. ;)

I use 45 psi on all four tires (Nitto Trail Grappler, e-rated, max 80 psi).

    Here's what I found.
My local shop (reputable) recommended 65 psi on all four tires.
Discount Tire (I bought the tires from them) recommended 35 psi on all four tires.
Nitto recommended 38 for the front tires and 40 for the rear.

I was curious as to what psi Tundra owners use so I started a survey for unloaded psi for e-rated 80 max tires over at TT. The most popular psi turned out to be 45 psi, so I've been using it ever since. Tires ride well and wears well so I am happy.
