Wheel and tire set up.. I've been to 3 ships locals here and got a few for lift wheels tires and labor.. I've seen now that if I order my wheels package thru another vendor I'm getting them about 600-700 cheaper even thou they said they'll price maThx.. which they didn't. So I'm
Going that route and found another shop that does lifts all day and they're doing it for $400 cheaper so it's saves a G...

Well, after much thought and recommendation from everyone here and from Toytec themselves, I think I'm just going to go with the TU3 spacer lift for now. I'd love to do the BOSS lift, but I feel I just dont need all that at this point. Plus it's hard to pay $1800 vs only $278, HA. That's not that big of an investment and I can always upgrade it later. Fuel Assault 18x9 +1 is going to run me $235 shipped, and as of now, I'm going with the Toyo Open Country AT2 295/7018, but still waiting on the price. The Nitto Terra Grappler 295/7018 will cost me $275 delivered.

So as of now, I'm looking at $2300 plus the install, alignment, trimming, etc.

    What do you think?

My only other problem now. If I do it, I wont have a place to park it as it wont fit in the garage, ha. Not really wanting to just park it outside. Humm..

Should fit. Usually 6 inch lifts and more have trouble fitting in garage..

I wish. Not sure why the builder made our garage door opening so short. My antenna hits as is. So if I add 3 inches, plus tires being 2 inches taller. I dont think I'm going to have room.

Right, there is this wooden lip that comes down from the brick. I already told my wife that I may have to do some trimming there too. I can't explain the look that she gave me on that one. HAHA.

Wes, the Toytec TU3 leveling kit is what I have. The only issue I had with it was during the install (the shop I used had never seen such a spacer kit that mounts both in and over the coil) otherwise it's been 6 months and approximately 10,000 miles of smiles on my part.

Be sure they don't mount the rubber pad like the following photo ...

I believe your going in the right direction regarding the +1 offset (I'm really close to ordering up some Bora 1" or 1.25" spacers. That will put me at either -5 or -12).

As for tires, I liked my Toyo OC ATII's but I think I'll go with Nitro Ridge Grapplers next time as they seem to be receiving great reviews.

    Look forward to seeing pics!

I was looking online at a kit and it's asking if I need a carrier bearing drop kit? Anyone know if I need that

Here is a photo of my garage, you can see how short it is. Don't have much space.

I was told that only going 3" lift, you wont need that. But it is a good question.

Ah, I figured it had something to do with the garage chop, but couldn't come up with wooden lip, even after I already said it.. haha.

Probably at your height. If it's cheap just get it. You might not have to put it on but if you develop a shudder at acceleration, then you're going to need it. It's a pretty quick and easy install.

All it is is a spacer to drop your rear driveshaft to correct the angle after you lift the rear. I just went to the hardware store and just bought two spacers for $1.50. Some people develop a shudder on acceleration without one.

So I'm still waiting to do all this. I think I've changed my mind again and going to go with the Toytec Boss kit again. I've been told I dont need to replace my UCA with the Boss kit, so that saves me a lot. I can always add that later. But I'm looking at about an $800 difference between the Boss kit and the TU3 kit. So I figure it's probably better to just do it and now have to do it later. Spend the money now and save me money later.

Wheels I'm still debating the +1 or the -18. I really want them out past the fender a touch, so I think the -18 will have to do and just trim what I have to trim.

Tires I'm sold on the 295/7018. I dont see a reason to go full 35s right now. But I need to determine if I want the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's, or the Toyo Open Country AT2.

No, I still haven't pulled the trigger on it. Right now doing the adult thing to do and getting other house and bill stuff done, ha. I hope to do it by the end of the year though, so we'll see.

You could also try in between with 5100's & coachbuilder shims which should get you close to 3" for about $400.
