Last night I peeled off the TRD 4x4 stickers and removed a few of the badges. I heated the badges just a bit, like I've always done, to get the tape a bit more pliable. Everything came off without an issue. Rubbed a little Goo Gone on the residual, a little clay bar then a little bit of Adam's Revive Hand Polish. There's still a very faint ghost image where the badge used to be. Not super noticeable but visible from certain angles.

I was ordering a few things from Adam's this morning and added their Paint Correcting Polish. Going to give that a shot and see what happens.

    Any other recommendations?

Harley Davidson makes a scratch removing polish that might work.

Try some nail polish remover. Works in some cases.

Yea I do. Truck is a 2016. No issue with the decals, those came off clean. The SR5 and V8 badges left the slight ghosting. I'll hit it with the polisher this weekend. Thanks for the link.

just an update. hit the spots with some of adam's correcting polish. cleaned right up. can't even tell that the badges were there.

spent most of the afternoon giving a full detail: clay bar, polish, glaze and wax. hadn't had the chance to do this since picking the truck up but, damn, that's a lot of vehicle to cover. magnetic gray is by far the bestest color. then of course, the skies opened and we've had a raging t-storm for the past half hour...
