So...while I was changing the shocks on my Tundra, I ran into where the lower control arm front cam bolt nuts are behind the skid plate. To actually torque them to 221 ft-lbs per the manual, I would've needed to remove the skid plate. However, a 24mm boxend fits just fine. I just ugga-dugga'd it till I farted  to German spec. Good enough until I brought it in for an alignment and zero point calibration. Or is it? They only had to adjust Toe. So, I will eventually double check the torque on the LCA cams.

No one seems to make a 24mm torque adapter. I was thinking about taking a chromoly steel 24mm boxend wrench and a 24mm 1/2dr socket...knotch the socket, cut the boxed to 4-1/8 long, and weld them together to make a custom tool.

19mm is the largest size Napa sells.

Then I just came across these on Amazon. This might be better.

BAM! Problem solved! It would let me put a breaker bar or torque wrench on any box or open end wrench. Can't remember how many times I've daisy chained wrenches to break torque or couldn't get a torque wrench to fit somewhere. Thing to remember with a torque wrench application...keep it at a 90 degree angle or do the math to get the proper torque.

As far as which one...I'm suspecting that they are all the exact same thing, made in the same factory, just branded and priced different. But I might pull the trigger on the Walston.
