Just snagged this 2015, and am loving it so far. CrewMax 5.7 4x4 with 46k miles on it. It came with some nice parts already bolted to it, but the plan is to throw some Icon suspension goodies on there and clean it up. Will probably add some creature comforts to the inside as well.

    Day I brought it home:

Then I decided to swap the sliders out for some OEM steps. I know...kinda boring, but this truck is never gonna need sliders. Figured I'd use the funds from those elsewhere.

Just finished swapping on a color matched front bumper with diode dynamic fog lights, color matched side mirrors, and some TRD Pro LED headlights.

Head on shot of the new bumper/headlights:

I've been gathering a bunch of suspension goodies for this truck, and hope to install those next. Here's what i have so far:

    Icon 2.5" shocks front/rear
    Icon billet upper arms
Dirt King UCA double shear tabs
    Icon RXT rear springs
    Coachbuilder +1" shackles
    Icon Rebound 17" wheels
    BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2's - 315/70R17

Still need to do a little cleanup on the front shocks, but hoping to install sometime in January.

Got bored waiting for all my Icon stuff to get here, so swapped out the OEM charging port on the center console for a dual USB port.

I also installed an AJT blackout kit, and TRD shift knob. The fitment on the AJT stuff is pretty nice. Now i just need an OEM leather console lid...

Threw a custom startup screen image in there. Should be good for at least 5 more horsepower at the rear wheels.

Finally was able to find someone selling OEM paint matched rear bumper corners...really happy with all the chrome finally gone.

Also slapped a Bakflip MX4 on as well. That thing was fantastic for a family ski trip. I'm totally sold on these things!

Now on to the fun stuff. Got all my Icon goodies ready for install. Now debating whether to tackle the install myself or sub it out to a local shop. Hmmmmmmm.

Finally got all my parts ready and installed. Pretty excited with how it turned out. I was surprised at how much rear lift the Icon expansion pack provided...looks like way more than the 1.5" advertised. Fronts are set at 2" preload, which I guess is about 3" lift?

I also added power fold mirrors with puddle lamps, but can't really take pics of that...

Decided to give paint matched door handles a try. Was hard to pass up the aftermarket paint matched ones from eBay/Amazon given how much lower the price was vs OEM, and I have to say I was pretty impressed with how good of a match the color is. A few little flaws in the paint here and there, but overall really nice for the price.

Not sure why, but the Icon 3 leaf add a leaf pack gave the truck 2.5-3" of rear lift, so I decided to swap them out for a full Icon pack. Dropped the rear down to just about level. Pretty happy with the ride height now. Also swapped the 2.5" resi Icon rear shocks out for some 2.5" adjustable resi Icons.

Going to list the OEM springs with Icon AAL and the Icon piggyback 2.5's if anyone is in the San Diego area and is interested.

Before w/ Icon 3 leaf AAL:

After with Icon RXT spring pack set at the lowest ride height setting:

Glad you're enjoying the build! You're right...I called a last minute audible and grabbed a set of Rock Warrior wheels instead.

    That’s a gorgeous mgm:cheers:

Been keeping mine pretty stock cus it’s my daily and work truck, but I think I’m gonna start with upgrading my sound system, new HU, got my eyes on a new sub box, amp, n just go from there. I noticed you have the standard OEM system so I’m amazed you haven’t touched yours yet, but I’ve got the JBL OEM system in mine. It’s nice, subs have some damn good bass but I’m not impressed with the clarity of the sound with specific songs or at “higher volumes”. Which is my other issue, maybe I’m going deaf but I feel that the system lacks the proper volume range.

Funny you should mention that...I just replaced my head unit. I started out with the Sony XAV-9500, but wasn't a fan of how far up and out of the dash it was, so I ended up moving to the in dash version of it, the XAV-9000. Really liking it so far.

Damn I like that a lot… is that the Metra dash kit from Crutchfield? I was gonna go with an in-dash Alpine because I didn’t feel like dishing out the money for the Halo or a Kenwood; but from the pictures, the Crutchfield kit looked like garbage, I guess I was just overreacting about the Crutchfield kit:rofl:

Not sure where the dash kit came from actually. I bought the head unit through Trail Grid Pro, and they pre-assemble the whole deal with the dash kit, the Maestro harness, etc... and ship it to you ready to install. Their prices are the same or less than buying all the parts from Crutchfield and doing it yourself too. I can't recommend them enough. I think you can also get 5% off if you sign up for their emails as well. Definitely worth checking them out.
