I have a Compustar remote start/alarm and use the Drone Mobile app.
Never had an issue with it.

I noticed yesterday I didn't have any dome lights.
Checked the dome fuse today and it was blown.
Replaced it and everything worked again, but I wondered what made it blow in the first place.
I did a remote start to charge the battery a little and it timed out after 15 minutes like it is supposed to.
I then heard the alarm going off.
Being it was armed when the remote start running, I guessed it triggered the alarm when it stopped, although it's never done that in the past.
When out, started the truck to reset everything and went back in the house.
20 minutes later it goes off again, reset it, and 20 minutes later it goes off again.

Then I looked at the app.
It was going off because the alarm was triggered that the door was open.
It did that 3 times, all about 20 minutes apart.
The last trigger was a shock sensor trigger, I have no idea what that could have been.

I'm guessing something is screwed up with the interior lights and/or one of the door switches and that's what made the dome fuse blow in the first place.

For now, I'm locking the door with the key and leaving the alarm off.

Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting this?
    TIA..

So I go out today and the dome light fuse is blown again.
I guess I'm going to have to start disconnecting stuff until it stops blowing.

This would be easier if there was a constant short in the circuit.
    But this on-off stuff sucks..

So it's been a month and I've just left the dome fuse out.
Had time yesterday to look into it.

I replaced the dome fuse and noticed one of the map lights was out.
Come to find out it was a bad connection and I had to pull the headliner console and rebend the map light leads.
Put it all back in, and everything works.
Locked the truck, the alarm never did go off again (knock on wood).
    I guess it's 'fixed'..

I still don't know why that dome fuse kept blowing.
I don't why the alarm was going off triggered by an open door when all the doors were closed.
But when the weather got down in the single digits, this started.

I did pull the hood switch plug and make sure it was clean, but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
I'm not even sure that hood switch is connected in my truck..
