Yeah, I understand your concern.. The thing is that with the TopCoat on it just rinses away all dirt. I should have said I'm power washing with plain water and then hand drying. I'm not seeing any remaining debris after rinsing.

It's been raining the last 2 days here and the rain just cleans my cars. =D

No bird poop yet but lots of bugs... they come off easily with just water so far. Going to apply second coats to both vehicles this weekend.

@Backslider how much of the bottle do you have left? Today I did all the door jams , inside the tailgate and under the hood. And now I'm at half the bottle and that's only 1 car!?!?

I think this is how they get you to buy more.... contemplating of buying the gallon. What u think? Have you had it long enough to say you will continue to use it?

I used it pretty sparingly and still have over 1/2 a bottle left. I'm notr sure yet whether I will keep buying it or not. I really want to see how it holds up after a couple of months.

It's supposed to require much less after the first application. If that is true and it lasts as long as they claim I will most likely buy the gallon.

Gonna give it a shot when I have time. Plan is to wash/rinse/claybar/rinse/dry/f11. Hopefully next week sometime. Finishing up a couple projects on the boat first.

    Status update:

So far so good. Neither of my vehicles has received a second application of F11 TopCoat, but neither has received a legitimate soapy wash either. Neither of them look showroom ready but both are still very hydrophobic and spraying with clean water out of direct sunlight, then using a 380g/m2, wet (I have reverse osmosis water at home, so I use this) microfiber cloth to eliminate hard water spots.

My truck took a beating this weekend and was pretty muddy and dusty. Today I power washed with very light soap and it looks like it was just waxed, other than the multiple scratches I got from trees and bushes last weekend.

My wife's car hasn't had a wash since we got back from Bear Lake 2 weekends ago, and I've been making her park outside because I'm too lazy to clean my shit out of the garage. Hers has a light dust on it but still looks pretty great.

I'm going to strip my truck and break out the orbital polisher tomorrow, got some Chemical Guys V36 and V38 that will take all of these light scratches right out. Also bought some orange and some black Hex-Logic cutting and wax applying pads.

@Backslider yup I have the same results on the Jeep. It lives outside and besides the light coat of dust it looks great still! This weekend will be two weeks since application.

Nice! White helps a lot too haha!

I should also mention that I coated the wheels on the Tundra and all of the mud and crap from trail riding last weekend came off very easily. I didn't have to break out the sacrificial microfiber cloth and go over every inch of them. It has held up really well on the plastic parts of the vehicle too!

Update : it's been 2 weeks since the jeep was coated. Haven't touched it and it's been daily driven and parked outside 24/7. It showered today and left a bunch of dirty water marks. Decided to hose it off in my driveway. Most of the dirt came right off and there was bird poop on the roof and that came right off w the hose!!! Used my blower to dry most of the water then microfiber to get the rest. No soap was used and the surface was slick as if there was soap on there. Outcome is she looks great and I'm starting to believe in the product.

So I decided to apply a coat on the Tundra. I used an applicator pad this time and it worked much better. I used less product for the entire truck including all the windows. Also did the wheels. Came out great! Starting to really like this and most likely will by the gallon. It's so easy to apply this product!

Yeah I thought this product was a gimmick but it's starting to prove me wrong, it really looks great on dark colors unlike my white truck lol

Thought I'd chime in as well and provide some examples of how it looks on a white truck.

I washed the truck Saturday with soap and water, then dried off what I could. Truck air dried overnight in the garage before I clay barred it on Sunday. After I had clay barred it, I applied TopCoat to everything (glass, chrome, wheels, rubber, plastic, etc.). The actual TopCoat application didn't take long at all and was super easy. The results are awesome! I don't think my truck looked this good when I picked it up from the dealer. It shines really well, even for a white truck. I'm planning on putting a second coat on later this week and will update again after a few road trips and some rainy weather.

So far things are looking good!

Where are you all buying the product? I ordered directly from the TopCoat website two weeks ago, and paid. I haven't received any shipping confirm yet. I emailed "Michael" from TopCoat yesterday, and didn't receive a response. Terrible customer service.

I ordered mine directly from TopCoat's website. I will say the order update info was very lacking. I received an order confirmation email (which also stated they were swamped due to a recent influx of orders) but no shipment email. Then about 2 weeks later the stuff just showed up.

Still, not good if they haven't gotten back to you on your inquiry. Hopefully they reply soon and you'll get some info.

Thanks man. It's unfortunate the customer service can't keep up with what appears to be a great product. Hopefully they get their act together or they won't be in business very long.

I ordered directly from the TopCoat website too. Had no issues with my order or getting tracking in a timely manner. Sorry you're not having the same experience, hope they get back to you ASAP!

I said screw it and started after work today.

Took 3 1/2 hours start to finish but I have succesfully applied the first coat after a lengthy strip wash/claybar/towel dry.

I did my entire truck plus rims with just the small 2 ounce bottle that comes with the bigger one and I thought I was using generously.

Of course its dark now that i'm done so will post pics tomorrow, but I can already tell I love this stuff. I could literally see it bringing my trim and plastic back to life as I was buffing it in. Went on and came off super easy.

Well the sun never came out this morning but the truck is still shining better than ever. Count me impressed so far. Really buffing it in with a round applicator pad seemed to be the trick. My door handles etc. look brand new. I'd say truck hasn't looked this good since I got it.

Still debating how I'm gonna go about the first wash after applying the first coat. Guess I'll have to wait and see how dirty it even gets and how much spraying water alone will take off, but plan is to do my normal 2 bucket method but using just my wash mit and water, no soap, then apply 2nd topcoat. Is that what most of you guys are doing?

Water and microfiber will be fine. I was skeptical too but after doing it I feel better now.

I'm amazed right now. Put about 150 miles on the truck today, about 15 of it being in the rain. Got a haircut then ran home and by the time I got home literally 95% or better of the water had fallen off the truck. I hopped out and spent about 45 seconds whiping a couple drops of water and two dirty water spots behind my rear wheels and now it looks like I just washed it again. Excited to put another coat on.
