Good info. Much more aggressive sidewall than current Wildpeak.

I'd like to see them in person , the sidewall is more aggressive but to me the tread seems more tame ...:notsure: but in any case glad to see them expanding the lineup. I love my wildpeak at

I have Toyo R/T on my Tundra and Falken WildPeak AT3w on my wife's Lexus GX470. When I need to replace my Toyo R/T's I was
going to get the Falken WildPeak AT3w. This might change now as these new WildPeak R/T's come with a 55K life.

This is a game changer for me, but I still have a lot of miles left on my current tires.

    Hello folks,

We are currently building up inventory of this model, however distributors are placing their orders for the market to see on the streets come new year, 2023.

As some have stated in our mid-size SUV sibling forum, the RT01 does not have the 3 peak rating like our AT3w has. While this is a bummer, this does help in stiffening up the tread to be as durable as our MT01, but with a tread just soft enough to have a 50k mileage warranty. Only two other RT tires in the market have the 3 peak rating (Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac & Hankook Dynapro XT).

the RT01s share the 3 ply sidewall construction of the MT01 but includes 30 day/1000 mile trial period, and road hazard coverage for the first 3/32nds, like our AT3w. Unfortunately, ride softness may be be out the window for the RT01 as the 3 ply sidewall typically are known for a stiffer ride. This is a tire for the enthusiast for wants some value out of the tire (mileage warranty, road hazard coverage, trial period) that a MT tire does not offer.

50k prorated mileage warranty. ;) Our AT3w's have the 55k though.

Learned something new didn’t know what an R/T tire was. Sounds like it stands for “rough terrain” and is considered a step above A/T tires. On some tire websites they would put these tires in “commercial traction” previously which was an odd category.

Yes. Some call it "rugged terrain" as well, but it is also easier to remember this category as a "hybrid" tire, mixing all-terrain and mud-terrain characteristics, together, in a tire. Where people ask for durability that an All-terrain doesn't provide, but not to be loud/harsh/luggy as a Mud-Terrain, the R/T category tire slots in as the happy medium for users.

I don't know about other people but I am excited to see them in 285/70r18... I will definitely be buying them when I need new tires if the truck is lifted by then.

Dang the LT315/70R17 size is super heavy at 76lbs vs the Duratracs I have at around 62lbs. Where did the extra 14lbs of rubber go to.

Oh I missed those, looks like both a 17 and 18 version in C load. 35x11.5 is super uncommon so this is good to have options. Most people can should be able to run those with stock wheels.

The Wildpeak R/T01 will be sharing, for most sizes, the Wildpeak M/T01 sidewall construction, which is where most of the additional heft will be coming from. Most sizes will include 3 ply sidewalls but slighty less sidewall thickness compared to our M/T01.

The Wildpeak M/T01 comes in at 80 lbs against the Wildpeak AT3w at 69 lbs(C load) or 72 lbs(E load).

Anyone seeing these locally, yet? I'm coming due, and it may be down to these, their A/T Wildpeak equivalent, or Cooper ST Maxx. Curious where they'll land price wise, too.

I think the Doritos Locos taco from Taco Bell sounds crazy disgusting despite loving both tacos, and Doritos.
