Hey All - any experience with windshield protection film ( non tinted ) to fight stone chips etc...A local dealer that installs PPF has a windshield protection product as well but expensive @$600 but if it truly stops all the stone chips then it might be worth it.

Also, anyone in the north dealing with snow, have you tried a windshield blanket? They seem interesting… My concern is dealing with the blanket all the time…seems like it would be a pain when cold, covered in snow and ice trying to store it somewhere. Then having to put back on in same conditions…

No input on the PPF for the windshield sorry. Though I do have it on my headlights with the idea of replacing if/when they get too beat.

I’ve used a windshield blanket for a few years and they are good. I’m in the mountains in western Canada and it’s great on frosty mornings and fresh snows. Bit of a hassle to deal with it at times but worth jt.

You won’t need to buy a “windshield blanket” you can just put any blanket on your windshield and close it into each front door to prevent windshield freezing. I deal with 8 months of winter in a year and would never bother doing this. Command start or not turn the vehicle on and clear the snow let it warm up, here’s a picture of my old daily for reference. I also got a chip repaired on my tundras windshield last week it was $40
