    Looks good @Backslider !
How's the maintenance on it after 1st application? I'm assuming you just re-apply on top without doing anything else? Please update us with results and maintenance. I'm tempted to try this product! How long are people reporting saying it is lasting on their vehicles?

Went almost two weeks before washing my wife's car, and even when I did wash it it looked pretty great outside of some grill and windshield bugs. When I did wash it I just used water and no soap and everything came right off. I then tried with a clean microfiber towel.

They say that after a few applications you can just wipe off dirt but I don't feel comfortable doing that yet. Even just a quick rinse and dry is a lot faster than my usual process, so I'm very happy with it.

They say that after a few coats it creates a strong bond with the paint, so I may try the wipe method after a few months.

Allegedly it lasts 3-6 months, and there are a few YouTube videos out there claiming that too. I am going to reapply to both of our vehicles within the next week or so and hope to get at least 4 months before reapplying. It's supposed to be that the longer you have used it the longer it will last. You're also supposed to need less of it after the initial coat. When I reapply it in a few days I hope to confirm that.

Nice. How long did it take to ship once you ordered? Really tempted now.

About a week to arrive. Not long at all in my opinion.

Nice! I'm positive you will love it. First application requires some prep work but after that it should be smooth sailing!

If it makes you feel any better I'm about to drop $1000 on retrofits today, but to be fair I am also buying a pair of OEM headlights at a great deal to do it with.

May have to give this a shot, been using the H2O guard and gloss from Adams Polishes and it works fairly well, but doesn't last as long as I had hoped.

You should give it a shot - I've only got a month on the 4runner but it still looks freshly washed. I did rinse it off and dry it but used only clean water and no soap. The Tundra, with the exception of some mud around the wheel wells, also looks like it just got washed.

Think I will. Almost out of the other stuff anyway. Definitely wish they sold a smaller bottle to test it out first, but I'll take your word for it.

I am thinking about pulling trigger on a bottle of this. I am still unclear on surface prep before application. The website suggests there isn't much surface prep as the product will work its way through any existing wax over time.

From the FAQ of the TopCoat website:

Before F11™ is applied, make sure your bike, vehicle, or surface is cleaned first. You can use any products to wash but preferably use products without wax in it, or any synthetic “coating” for “protection” as the F11™ won’t bond properly on the first application. However, each application of F11™ will push out any other coatings that were there and F11™ will eventually bond 100% to the substrate. If you want to add several coats of F11™ to your surfaces, wait at least 24-48 hours between coats to ensure effective performance. Multiple, consecutive coats can be applied, but you will not achieve the benefits as you would by allowing one application to “set up” or “cure” first within the stated time frame. Clay Bar: If you have any contaminants in the paint, overspray, or hardened fallout where you need or want to Clay your paint, you can clay it and use F11™ as the solution, thus claying and adding the coating all at the same time! F11™ works amazing with clay bars.

Received mine yesterday. Took about a week to receive. It will be a while before I try it out. gonna use it on the wife's jeep first as that one needs more TLC right now. Gotta clay and polish it first.

On my truck, which has wax, I used Chemical Guys "Clean Slate" to strip the wax. They say that multiple coatings will eventually clear up the wax, but because it's so expensive I chose just to strip wax instead.

Hope you guys post your results! I was going to detail and apply a 2nd coat to my Tundra last night but chose not to. Today we have unexpected and fairly heavy rain, which is strange for July in Utah.. Phew.

Makes complete sense. I got my truck in May - and while I probably should have already - have not polished or waxed it yet.

Just finished the Jeep. That was the easiest protection coating I have ever applied. Kinda feels like how it feels to apply Rain-X. Now to test to see how well it performs/lasts.

I wish I could say I was drunk when I wrote this..

I applied to the plastic and rubber surrounds on the glass and mirrors, but not on gflass and mirrors themselves. I did apply to my headlights and it has made but removal quick and effortless.

How long is it lasting you and how are you maintaining it? I read on topcoat that your not supposed to use soap or water!? Just a microfiber rag and maybe some more topcoat? Scary thought to do. Anyone do this?

I think it's a easy detail, very easy. A good scrub down,a good wax and some time you will have a better lasting shine, inop.

Are you using soap? I am just rinsing with water and wiping with a wet microfiber towel, goxing to see how that works. After over a month on the 4runner it's still there and still beads water really well.

I'm so scared to wash without soap. It's so not what your regularly supposed to do lol.

Have you dealt with bird poop yet? Wondering how to deal with that once it occurs.
