I was looking around at leveling kits for my 2022 Platinum Tundra. Most all that I found were 2" leveling kits. Rough Country advertised a 1.75" kit. My assumption was that they really had the correct height dialed in. The last thing I wanted was for the front end to be higher than the rear. The pics on their web site showed the same image for Gen 2 and Gen 3. I asked, they said it was just a stock image. I received the kit, it had the correct SKU but the paper inside identified it as being for 2021 and down. I called. They assured me it was the correct kit. I had it installed. The front end is now a little over 1.5" higher than the rear. I logged back in to their web site and now the price for the Gen 3 kit was $59.00 less and it was a different image. I sent them a message and called. Their response was "its just made of different material. It's the same kit. Sorry, we can't do anything. I am paraphrasing a bit. Their response was non-existent until I gave them a one star review. Then they emailed but really didn't care and didn't respond to my last two messages. So, does anyone know of a Gen 3 leveling kit that will actually make the truck level? If not, I will just have the current kit removed and keep it stock. Thank you

I assume you have rear air suspension?

if so, that may be your problem and you can adjust your rear ride height at the bracket. I'm sure someone will chime in on how to do it. Refrain from taking the kit off at the moment and research the bracket adjustment.

    Search Button.....it is the way.

If the rear bracket adjustment doesn’t fix, I installed a cornfed 1” spacer up front and like it. Still a slight rake, but leveled out for the most part nicely. As the reply above states though..pretty sure that bracket will be your ticket.

I have the RC 1.75" leveling kit and mine is perfectly level.

Edit: Maybe it's my imagination, but the back of your truck looks lower than mine for some reason.

Regardless, the RC 1.75" leveling kit is perfect for me.

Thank you all. This is good information and I am pretty confident my Toyota service folks did not adjust the rear brackets. So for the folks who installed the 1.75" RC kit, in both cases your installers had to adjust the rear brackets to get your trucks level?

Are the levers to adjust the rear brackets accessible if I crawl underneath? Is it something I can do or do I need to get it in to the shop?

I never adjusted anything on the rear of my truck. I was just saying that for some reason, your truck just looks lower in the rear than mine. Might just be the angle of the pic though.

I want to thank everyone for your responses. I was able to show the Toyota store where the adjustment was for the air ride. We moved it all the way up and the truck now sits level. The Service folks were appreciative. They haven't had to do anything with the air ride yet so they were unaware of the ability to adjust the height manually. They have a couple other customers with the same issue who will benefit from that knowledge. Thanks again. That was frustrating but I wish all my problems were that easy to fix!

How is the ride compared to before you installed it?

If there is a difference it is not measurable enough for me to notice.

Thank you. It looks a lot better to me now that it's level. I have 285/60R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT All-Seasons

I had the RC 1.75 installed as well. Sometimes it looks level, and sometimes the front looks high… As we all know, the hood line is higher than the bed line, it can be tricky to the eye…but I haven’t actually measured yet. I’m thinking at the 3k service to remove break in oil I’ll measure in the shop on a level surface. I was looking at the Cornfed 1/2” or 1” rear spacer as a potential fix option.

When I took my truck in for the oil change I showed them these pics of the levers that need to be adjusted. They were not aware the air ride had adjustment levers. On mine they moved them all the way up and the distance between the bottom of the wheel and the middle of the wheels is the same. No need to add lift to the rear if that works for you.
