so aftermarket lift = no warranty

TRD OEM supplied lift = warranty

Maybe they started having this mentality after offering a oem lift kit?

Or still hit/miss dealer by dealer?

That guy created that for likes on YouTube- never trust an influencer and content, that’s not true. Yes toyota *could* refuse to warranty your cv’s or they could not. A lift doesn’t void everything else on your warranty. I’ve had 5 tundras now, all lifted, all that have needed warranty work and the only time it was shut down was for a CV axel up front- 1000% the shop that installed the coil over cranked to 4.5in of lift and didn’t instal the diff drop that was in the box with the UCA’s and shocks.

75% of dealers put on shitty spacer lifts and sell them out the door all day long

Installed the ICS Fab fab dash mount. Pretty straight forward and simple install. I haven't mounted my ram mount stuff yet or the mounting arms that go on both sides of the mount. That'll happen in the near future.

i think you miss my point, did Toyota tune change after offering their own TRD lift?

Also I understand that this dealer is saying no, but also know that other dealer may say yes to warranty, that is why I said is it still hit/miss - dealer by dealer

our local dealers have lifts on almost every tundra, 4Runner and Tacoma going out the door for the past 6 years and they are all cheesy $50 spacer pucks and they warranty the work. Toyota doesn’t change anything with a “tune” after a lift, hell they don’t even recalibrate the truck after the 3in toyota TRD lift kit

I like them. My main reason for going with these was that the mounting brackets don't hang down below like most.

Are the mounting brackets strong enough to use them as a lift point like traditional sliders?

To your point my dealership bought my wescott lift after I decided not to use it. They install them all the time and warranty their work on those lifts.

    No I do not

plenty of dealers installing non trd lifts and warrantying them. Lots of dealers doing warranty work on non dealership installed lifts. Pretty simple

I think the owner tried to post up on here with his product but was taken down asap since he wasn’t a vendor.

Nice product and love the design. Reminds me of my air freight days. This design is crazy strong.

Ah ok, yea these things are legit!...after installing them, they're worth every penny especially for hauling awkward items...being made outta 7075-T6 is a huge bonus, solid as a rock and fitment in the bed is spot on...he did a great job with them!

Lol just giving you shit! I think for myself I’d probably have gone a 1794 or platinum and rip that suspension out. But that’s cause I like the luxuries

I think the pro have some visual cues I like better, interior accents, big pro lettering and of course fox shocks. Having said this my reasoning to go limited trd is gut the suspension and make my own pro -ish tundra.
35”, trd lift, skid plate and of course getting rid of the old man chrome.

Lol all good. I actually ordered a 1794 back in March and still haven’t gotten it. A Pro at MSRP came knocking and I jumped on it. I usually run kings on my trucks and im sure someone will buy the fox pro setup

Can’t blame you I’d probably have done the same thing! I like the hud, power steps, tan leather, and black interior headliner/plastics. Found an army green 1794 available and loved the look had to take it!

    What’s wrong with stock?
I found a play date for my TRD. Looking at the two Sr5’s side by side makes me feel better about not doing the chrome delete on the mustache and logo. I think the truck needs it to break up the front a little.

    Bling Bling.

I installed the Afe tow hooks and the bed step.

Tow hook install was super easy, I used my impact and just torqued to spec with my wrench (51ft/lb).

These babies are beefy! 5lbs each, some 8”x8” in size and the weld for the hook seems to be pretty well done, with 2x 3” beads of weld.

They are mounted at about the same height as the 2.5 gen TRD Sport, but they are much further back. I can definitely see how one would be concerned about the bumper. However, I can also see how handy these would be for many applications. I’d rather have them than not.

I also installed the Toyota Bed step. I followed these instructions and they were super helpful

    https://youtu.be/jkAdx_FyMhw

My cat shield comes tomorrow and I’ll install it asap.
