So, seeing the fiery redhead I assume you now get why the Taco is named in her honor?

Super foggy this morning. It's actually weird, like you're driving through water but it's not raining. Very unusual for around here, so I'm sure tons of idiots drove into each other going to work this morning.

Yeah, all the water here is frozen. Best it does is get slushy and then freeze to the side of the truck. :(

They started thinking when they built houses up here. At this new house I have a hose bib in my garage that pulls from the hot water heater. I'm excited to give the truck a hot bath to get that frozen slush off.

we did that when we built our house. It makes giving the dogs a bath in the winter very nice (for them and us).

For sure. These are the things I've learned talking to everyone on here that are good to know if I ever get to build a house. Extra outlets, bigger breakers than you think you need, extra shut off valves in easy to reach places, hot water in the garage/near the garage, and a dog washing station.

No missus for me to worry about. Besides, food prep happens in the kitchen.

I am not too familiar with this brand, (have heard of it, but no personal experience) but 12GB is a solid size for ram. @Bob is the real IT guru.

ASUS makes a good variety of stuff, from basic consumer to high-end gaming and production hardware. The motherboards in the CAD/Design desktops we're buying now are ASUS, and their "ROG" (Republic of Gaming) line is well respected.

For the kind of use that most home users put on a computer, those specs should be more than enough for everyday use. You won't be playing Call of Duty or designing complete 3D models on that setup, but you'll have plenty of horsepower for web, email, netflix/hulu/HBO/whatever, and sending money to Bezos...and especially at that price point and with that screen size.
Down the road, a decent SSD to replace the HDD would be a recommendation (usually an easy upgrade in most machines for a support/repair outfit to perform).
