Hey! I'm looking to see if anyone has any good recommendations for a do-it-all flashlight? I'm not too set on if I want it to be rechargeable or battery powered but I was just wondering if someone had a good recommendation for an LED one? Thank you

I really like my zebralight, I like headlamps more than a flashlight. Easier to deliver mail in the dark. Felix lights would be my second choice if I need a backup one. Rechargeable batteries or usb charge option would be the best way to go.

Zebralight is about the best you can get, just choose the flashlight or headlamp that works for you. For easily rechargeable with onboard USB charging Nitecore is my go-to.

Not necessarily a do it all flashlight, but the this OLIGHT has 2 brightness settings. It only takes 1 aaa battery and sits nice in the pocket next to a knife. Will never have to use your phone for a flashlight again.

Edit: I have been carrying mine daily for almost 2 years

I have a streamlight microstream the 250 lumen one for about $30 and I definitely prefer it to the olight one. I like that it’s rechargeable because I always keep a small battery bank in my backpack and in the truck. It has an indicator that will let you know when the battery is getting low. It’s gone through the wash 3-4 times and keeps on truckin. I also prefer the strength of the pocket clip, I’ve bent 2 o light clips and never happened with the streamlight. Not trying to shit on olight I really just liked the streamlight one better.

This is what I use, a bit heavy but very bright, rechargeable, and led. From streamlight453E9C3B-FC97-4033-A31A-9324A7767F4B.jpg

I've been extremely impressed with Olight and carry the Baton mini on my person daily. I have a few others and have gifted them as well. There are tons of good brands these days, I'm sure you will find something to meet your needs.

Been really happy with my recently purchased Fenix TK20R V2.0. Even though most EDC flashlights are gonna be rechargeable, I like the quality of Fenix and the light modes this one has. My only gripe is I wish they had a really low lumen output mode like 10 lumens. Lowest it has is 30 lumens in eco mode. I also have a Fenix E35 V3.0. A tad smaller but uses the same 5000mAH battery, so it's nice to be able to interchange them. I also did quite a bit of research and found the TK20R to be the best compromise between all the brands I looked at (i.e. Nitecore, Imalent, Olight, etc.) for my needs.

I prefer headlamps. I have several Foxelli rechargeable ones. Cheap and very bright/effective. Just allows you to be handsfree in an emergency situation, including when you're working on your truck. I have several flashlights but after using my friends O-light at camp recently, I just ordered an O-light which arrives tomorrow. super freaking bright. 1150 lumens...

Here's link to the foxelli that I've been using since 2016. I have the battery operated and rechargeable ones. I have several, for me, wife and kids for camping and emergencies. All still function after six years of lots of use. There's better out there...but not for $13.

I have been really happy with Sofirn flashlights. Great price point and excellent performance. Rechargeable and well built. https://www.sofirnlight.com/

Another O-light fan here. I carry a S1R in my pocket, an S2R in my Tundra. And I have a bigger one in my teardrop.

Streamlight Micro USB. I have 2 one is always on me and the other is charged/ing.
Each one has gone through the wash a couple of times with no ill effects.
    Micro USB chargers are everywhere.
Small and puts out great light. I have a couple bigger Surefires but they are expensive and I rarely encounter myself needing them.
Used to carry a Streamlight Protac 2L I think. Just took up too much room in the pocket and was going through CR whatever battery like candy.

Another vote for the Fenix e35. Nice and compact but not pen-sized. Dimmest setting is a good “I’m walking in the dark and I need to see 15-20 feet in front of me” light. Brightest setting will light up your front yard (assuming your front yard is 1000’ long like mine). Not the tightest spot light, but I’m not mounting it on an m4 or g19 either so I don’t need it to be.
Only complaint is the brightest setting gets hot up by the lens in 5-10 seconds. But I’m rarely using it for longer than that anyway at that power.

Nebo lights are also another contestant that I haven't seen mentioned. I have 6 different models from the big Larry for working on the tundra to the 12k for our house light (have quite a few bears around) Also nebo is reasonably priced!
