To all you northern Idaho folks:

We're gonna be leaving the Portland area and visiting CDA for 5 days in July. What are some things we should do while we're up there? We have a 4-year-old and what will be a 5-month-old, so nothing too extreme. We'll probably have at least one night where the adults can get away from the kids, but mostly the kids will be tagging along.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm fairly close to Southern Idaho. If you guys ever do some trail runs and don't mind a Utahrd tagging along.. with a 4runner.. Is this a long shot?

I'd love some guided tours of Idaho.. I've driven through the state and used to have customers in Idaho Falls and Boise, but have not had a chance to explore the backcountry there.

Thanks for the reply, Ty. We were planning on going to Silverwood one day, but I'll have to convince the wife to let me go to the casino—sometimes I don't know when to walk away from the blackjack table...

I'd love some restaurant suggestions, though. My wife is more a "steak and potatoes" type of girl, but I'll eat just about anything!

But i guess once you get up north enough, every city is pretty close to the boarder.

Sure why not lol:thumbsup:. But in seriousness, Coeur d'Alene is a gorgeous area with lots of outdoor activities. Lewiston is the same thing but in the LC valley and has four seasons. Sand beach river sites, amazing steelhead fishing, good swimming areas, good hunting, and LCSC baseball team is fun to go watch.
